Fuck, did they really get that much worse over this short period of time? I mean they look good, but still.... the black lines are so much sharper on the original Dragonboxes. :?
Shouldn't the Dragon Box masters be digital, since they were done so recently?

-Funi version is bit brighter, but ...

Put it between The Podcast and CONTACT US! sections on the right. Like, right above CONTACT US!, write DONATE or something. Or just do the Paypal button thing.

Really, only a prude would think negatively of Daizex for allowing or even asking for donations.

I was thinking about this recently. People always talk about how good the Budokai series is, but I've never had a chance to play any Budokai games. I was thinking about picking up Budokai 3, but decided against it, despite how cheap I could get it. But as long as it's free, I'll take it!

Oh, and ...

I want:

-Sparking!-style gameplay (DBZ fights are far more large-scale than what a traditional fighter will allow)

-Only characters that matter, who all have unique styles (character rosters more like Budokai/Super DBZ/Burst Limit than Sparking!)

-Spike-style character art/models (à la Sparking ...

The films clearly weren't intended to be seen in 4:3, there are moments when characters are missing limbs starting right where the cutoff from 16:9 to 4:3 goes because they didn't animate it.
Oh, I didn't know that. Do you know where I can find any examples of what these "missing limbs" look like ...

Actually, after looking at the comparison shots, it seems like they stretched it vertically. Jesus, can't they do anything that even looks normal?

I think the vertical stretching is just because the trailer is in a stupid resolution/aspect ratio. I'm sure the Blu-ray release will have no ...

The movies are available in a 4:3 releases, standard DVD of course. Except for DB movie 1 (Curse of the Blood Rubies) only being available in 4:3 edited, every movie has been released by FUNi in an uncut 4:3 format. I really don't know what rock you've been laying under to forget this.

I know the ...

Here's the official announcement of the announcement:

http://dvd.ign.com/articles/807/807832p1.html

Judging from the trailer available at IGN, it looks like it's going to be a cropped widescreen release. I guess this is no big surprise, but beyond all the other problems with FUNimation's recent ...

How easy or difficult is it to read Dragon Ball in Japanese?

Hey,

I'll just type it out straight...I'm going to start formally learning Japanese in the fall. I want the Dragon Ball manga. I'd prefer the Japanese version. How easy or difficult is it to read for a beginning Japanese student? How much might it help me in my studies (whether it would or wouldn't ...

Definitely strange. Why would Atari go through all the trouble to create new music for BT2 outside of Japan, when the Sparking! NEO already had much better music...?

I'm in the same situation. I would probably try to play using the Wii classic controller since it is configured almost exactly like the Playstation controller. This is, of course, if there will ever come a day where I can play the Japanese version of the game.

Don't try it. I tried playing BT2 on ...
