Re: Would Dragon Ball Super borrow elements from GT?

I at least might predict a somewhat similar scenario where the main group (who ever they consider this to be that is.) goes to explore the other universes in some way, so similar to the beginning arc of GT. Might not necessarily involve actual space ship traveling, but traveling through dimensions.

Re: Old characters you want to see in Dragon Ball Super?

Perfect chance to make up for completely ignoring Lunch exists at all. I would explode if they literally just started the first episode with lunch being up to her old ways.
I'm not too worried about the main cast, just let them be actual characters and be relevant.

Re: Will GT Really Become "Lost" This Time?

I've never considered it canon, and it hasnt been for some time now, to me GT is what it is, its akin to the movies, which exist, are fun in their own way, and add to the rich lore of the franchise. No different than the movies, games, or spin off mangas, its all apart of the series.
Id compare it ...

Re: Fusions Revisited in Dragon Ball Super

Basically id like fusion to still exist to some degree, it was a pretty big new technique in the series and itd be a waste if it wasnt relevant at some point, preferably just let it be Goten and Trunk's thing, sorta unique to them. It always sort of was to me anyways.

Re: Official Announcement Thread & Discussion

A little too much for my heart to take. Cant believe it. Funimation must be building a temple in toriyamas name as we speak too.

I dont ask much from this, its a TV SERIES not a movie, so it only makes sense to expand and develop our favorite characters A LITTLE bit at least. I want to see the ...

Re: Vegeta's morality post Boo

He settled down and found a family at least, and finally found things worth protecting, and caring for, hence why he gave his life in the buu saga. Id like to think, as a fan, that he began to see through to the other side, that hey, it hurts to be blown to bits by a ki blast, so while he may not ...

Re: Check Out Akira Toriyama Mansion ;)

Its always interesting to hear some one from another countries opinion on the US, and I mean that seriously, I often wonder if it allows for a more clear and openminded viewpoint.

But on the topic, that is completely amazing. It looks like a cross between a mansion and one of those indoor ...

Re: How strong are the Android arc humans?

I've wondered this for years, and never seen a clear answer, so this topic has been pretty insightful actually. Since toriyama says kururin is the strongest human, thats pretty cool, I've been hoping that was the case honestly.

Re: Goku's Virus [Revival of F theory speculation]

^ The yardrat thing seems to be generally accepted as what happened from what I've seen, it certainly makes sense for intents and purposes story wise heh.

Yeah, so presumably frieza and his henchmen were there at some point, so theoretically it could have been then or some time after ward, when he ...

Re: Goku's Virus [Revival of F theory speculation]

Blargh, those are really good points, now that you mention it, trunks DID say it was common in their time, though perhaps because it spread, so I guess the medicine he gives him keeps it from spreading as well?
Anywho, I honestly dont see it as a likely thing either, but I thought it made a ...

Goku's Virus [Revival of F theory speculation]

WHEW, well I havent been here for a while. I recently saw the second teaser for RF, and I'm feeling some serious hype now.

So my mind was racing the other day, and I ended up bringing up a theory with a friend...

Yup, what if one of Freeza's men created gokus virus? An attempt to assassinate him ...

Re: New Animation VS Old Animation

Old all the way for me. Much like how I love older disney movies or tv animation, its less clean and more "dirty" the artists talents shine through more with every frame, and it feels more alive. I've always felt that way actually. Newer animation lacks that charm, the technology makes it look "too ...

Goku's first real challenge
No way is Vegeta Goku's first real challenge. That'd be Jackie Chun, maybe Tao Pai-Pai at the latest.
Oh yes, exactly. Though with jackie, there was no intent to kill, and goku wasnt truly beaten up too badly, id say Tao was definitely the first truly major battle for ...

Re: Why do people continue the dub wars constantly?

It doesnt matter what subject it is, or what context, people love to argue, it seems like youtube is a great place for general pricks to get a rise out of others, the fact that so many people do this, and that so many fall for it is astounding. The internet is the place for people to act like they ...

I loved seeing "future" age trunks in the timeline...that was cool, I hated how little use he was able to be after the dragon ball search, then again, I wont go talking about GT's monumental problems anyways heh.

With D ragonball O nline, I ' d just...say no to any attempt to redo GT. Goku ' s story is done in my mind . I wouldn ' t care for any revisiting anytime soon either. I ' d like a new cast with maybe some old faces ( P iccolo , for one, could return) .

I kinda liked the yin and yang part of GT ...

Pretty much every dragonball fan adores akira toriyama, not all Starwars fans even like lucas anymore, I'm STILL sticking to my 90's VHS tapes,

its like if akira had been the one to force the bad filler on us, to make the story ”better” lucas pretty much force feeds shit no starwars fans want ...
