Re: How old is Future Trunks?
I don't think "dying for no reason with the dragon" is a better ending. The ending in GT is literally the worse they could give us. I don't think Goku "choosing death" is in character. Goku "disappearing" under vague uncontrollable circumstances is more transcendental,...

Re: How old is Future Trunks?
Goku was dead for like 8 years in total right? And he has spent around 4 years training in the RoSaT, 1 month when he was a child, 10 months with Gohan, and 3 years with Vegeta. So isn't Goku like 38 now biologically and Vegeta 52? Goku's age is part of the reason why I don't like the Dragon Ball O...

Re: General What-If thread
What-If: If Goku turned Super Saiyan during his battle with Raditz? How it would affect the timeline? What impact it will make? ...Goku lets Cell reach his Perfect Form for a good fight... I disagree with this part. Goku is a Saiyan and he can be very selfish, but I think he would be aware enough t...

Re: Is Vegeta's "higher class" still relevant?
Okay, bumping this because I've seen other users refer to Vegeta as a "prodigy". If that's the case, wouldn't it be due to his "higher class"?
Not to mention him surpassing Super Saiyan 3, and possibly reaching "blueper saiyan" without the ritual.

Freeza's regeneration question
In Resurrection of "F" parts of Freeza's body was collectively placed into a rejuvenation chamber. The while in the chamber the parts knitted themselves together and Freeza regrew some of his limbs (and armor). If they "preserved" the revived Freeza chunks, could they make multip...

Re: Is Vegeta's "higher class" still relevant?
I'm not quite sure it should be dismissed that easily. While Goku is relatively "more special" than Vegeta, Vegeta has been on Goku's tail and briefly surpassed him with the rage boost. GT (I know it's noncanon) still utilized Vegeta's superior breeding when he had control over his Golden ...

Is Vegeta's "higher class" still relevant?
Or is there little difference between him and Goku at this point? Vegeta had a higher natural power level as well as the ability to communicate in his Oozaruu form. After the Android saga (or maybe the Namek saga) does Vegeta's "higher class" grant him any physical benefits? Or is it just ...

Keep:
Goku's "ascension"
The Shadow Dragons as the "final boss"
The Black Star Dragon Balls
Super Saiyan 4
Neutral:
Goku becoming a child
Baby
Majuub (I do want Uub to be a relevant character)

Re: What phrases/opinions/things bring out your irate fanboy
The say vs. "s-eye" pronunciation debate has bothered me recently after watching Dragon Ball Super. I understand that Sai is pronounced S-eye (like the weapon) and it explains the Saiya-jin name pun (Yasai). However, watching dragon ball super I here some characters pronounce Saiya-jin wi...

Re: What terminology do you usually use?
I only use names from the funi dub. Only exceptions are "kienzan" and "makankosappo" because those are easier to type and sound cooler than "destructo disc" and "special beam cannon." Same for me. I alternate between Taioken and Solar Flare, though I prefer t...

Re: What phrases/opinions/things bring out your irate fanboy
As of late, I've been annoyed by the Tenshinhan "realists". It seems that a lot of fans constantly complained that the Saiyans were getting too much attention, yet many of the same ones attempt to explain away TI EN 's feats like holding back Semi-Perfect Cell or surviving the human extinc...

Thoughts on Cyborg Freeza
Oftentimes fans tend to hate the fact that Freeza, after being rebuilt, decided to immediately go to Earth. They argue that he should have bided his time before getting revenge. However, I'm wondering whether or not Freeza would have been respected by his underlings and slaves with the physical remi...

Re: Cell and timelines (what really happened)
If I'm not mistaken, your timeline attempts to fix the issue of Cell having Trunks' DNA. I always assumed that the manga/mainstream continuity Cell had Trunk's DNA, but he was killed by Krillin before he developed. The Cell that was fought in the Cell Games "knew of Trunks" but did not hav...

Dragon Ball has a reputation for having ridiculously powerful characters. Some fans embrace it, others do not. Both sides feel they are being completely objective.

Re: Cell after Freeza's training regimen
And that turned to out to be false, as Cell, much Piccolo, really did need his head to stay intact to regenerate. Cell needed the nucleus thing to Regenerate (which was combined with the Zenkai). Also his head was blown off by the IT/Kamehameha combo and he still regenerated. I'd say that points to...

Re: General What-If thread
If Freeza was assassinated prior to the Namek Saga who runs his empire before King Cold steps in to sort everything out? For the sake of argument, Cooler, Abo and Cado exist in this universe. If cooler did exist he hated his brother. So he might have been involved with his death. While abo and cado...

Re: Cell after Freeza's training regimen
Meh. I don't get any the hype about Cell's potential. I ultimately think he composed of the greatest attributes, and not specially the potential, of the DNA he has from the other characters: - Saiyan (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan etc.): Strength and potential - Namekian (Piccolo): Regeneration - Freeza: Sur...
