I stumbled across the above image on Wikipedia. It seems to take place during the Freeza arc since Tien, Yamcha, Chaozu and Piccolo are training with Kaio-
sama, and Bulma is watching a portable TV in her Namek clothes on what what appears to be Namek, so... where is this from?

I don't seem to recall this
at all in the manga. Does anyone out there have any ideas? It seems to have a Christmas theme, so is it from some kind of Christmas special?

I think that was one of those special pages during DBZ's original run in Shonen Jump. I'm pretty sure that couldn't be found in the manga, as you said.

It's probably one of those things made for the JP Shonen Jump. Though I'm sure it was put again in a daizenshuu later on.

Notice how there are no Saiya-jin shown?

Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Is that correct? Doesn't really make sense. King Piccolo was killed on May 9'th. 3 years later was a Budokai. Then 5 years later was the beginning of Z. 11 Months later the Saiyans arrived. Which means the Saiyans arrived in April. 10 days passed before they took off to Namek. It took a bit over a month to get to Namek. So it was May again when they got to Namek. Goku took 6 days to get to Namek. So it was Late-May during the Goku/Freeza fight.

Actually, if I recall correctly, the initial trip to Nameck took around six months... maybe more, maybe less. I don't recall exactly, just that that was about the time range of traveling that Bulma and Co. did in Kami's old ship.
Can someone back me up on this, please? D:

Deh... uhm. Maybe that's just something with the Viz translation? D:
Well... if you want to bring physics into the discussion (aside: RUN FOR YOUR LIVES, DRAGONBALL FANS! DDD8), according to the Theory of Relativity, Bulma and Co.'s trip of 34 days space-traveling might have equated to about 6-7 months of time passing on Earth. I mean, Goku can't have really healed as much as he did in a month, right? o-o;
And no, I'm not trying to turn this into another big physics discussion. Notice now that I'm just speculating about the difference in the passage of time; I'm taking the Theory of Relativity and applying it to the situation loosely, not exactly. Otherwise, I'd be spending a lot of time actually figuring it out mathematically, to the point where the whole mess might possibly work out, and then giving you an actual semi-accurate time frame; and you don't see me doing that, now do you? Just thought I'd let you guys know... -_-;

That five year interval doesn't necessarily have to be exactly five years, though. It could easily be five years and seven months or something, which would make the timeline accurate. (If you ignore the other reasons that the timeline is very wrong for those years, anyway.)

That might be an explanation, except Bulma and Co were travelling faster than light (as shown when the spaceship gets to Jupiter in a few seconds rather than more than an hour), which means Einstein's theories are out the window, sicne he showed you can't go faster than light.
