I understand what you're trying to do, but we don't tolerate (not sure if that's the right word) freely sharing files on this message board. With the exception of AMV's, but that's a whole other issue. If you're just doing this to experiment, I suggest renting the DVD's from Netfilx or Block Buster, or what ever you have at Mt. Paozu. In any case, good luck.

And although your avatar is awesome it is way too big. 80x80 pixels is the limit.

Hope I helped,

I understand the fact that you're not accept sharing file, but In this case I don't understand why you tolerate FMV... the law is the same for the 2 ! Videos used on FMV or a simple audio track are copyright by the same companies it's not because fan made FMV that's different for them !!! Your point of view is illogic.

I just asked a little help for made my tests, personnaly I already have the 5 originals Dragon Box and It's for this reason I'm not interesting by the new US DVD in WS format. But If I'll arrive to made a 5.1 japanese audio track, I'll buy them. But I don't wan't to buy them before testing my idea...

I'm not asking for whole audio tracks, just 2 tracks from ep1. (5.1 us with jp bgm + 1.0 jp)

If someone could help I'll really appreciate :)

I think AMV's are generally tolerated because they're not giving you the entire source material, in regards to the anime. When it comes to the music, I guess someone can always pull the whole "fair use" card out of their ass, but you're right. When it all comes down to it, it is copyright infringement. Anime companies and the RIAA have turned a blind a to AMV's, so far, because that community in general is not big. At least I don't think it is, I'm not really a part of it, so I can't comment.

Anyway, I haven't slept in two days and this whole issue has gotten me confused. I'll tell you this though:

You are asking for whole audio tracks, and essentially for an entire episode. You don't have to buy the boxset, just rent it at a video store. It's not going empty out your wallet. Hell, you could buy the damn boxset and then dump it on someone else when you're done with it.

Renting is not an option for someone living in France.
But buying the box is probably just as cheap as it would've been renting it.

Didn't know he lived in France, so thanks for that. I'm assuming you can't rent it there because FUNimation doesn't have distribution rights in France?

FUNi is English version and American at that. It would be exceptionally difficult to get their DVDs in France (without shelling out serious cash). Plus renting in general isn't big in Europe as a whole, if I'm not mistaken. If you're going to pay through the roof, therefore, you might as well do as he's saying: get a sample and then buy the better stuff. As for the French version, I don't believe they ever came out with what he's asking for, so it's not like he can get that, either.

There's always the power of the internet. It's out there and pretty damn cheap too. Try eBay, Amazon etc.

Which he said he's going to do if it turns out it's what he wants. I don't see why your panties are in such a bind over this...

I'm more than a little surprised there's so much resistance to his request - especially from SatoSky. He wants to try something out so he's asking for some audio. That's not much to ask for, really. He even says he would gladly purchase the boxsets (despite the restrictive fees it would incur) if this test is successful.

I'd be glad to rip the audio for him - if I knew how to, that is. :P

Wow. So, 30 minutes to get the audio, six hours trying to upload it anywhere. Something might be wrong with my connection, I couldn't upload it to my server, or even any file-upload-sites :(

So, the best I can do now is a torrent.

BDZ 001 audio streams - Funimation remastered boxset (110 MB)

Thank you very much desirecampbell !!!!!! You're really the best ;)

I just launch the torrent file but it's not downloading, Are you connected in source ?

P.S : 30 mins for extracted the tracks or 30 mins for made all the manipulations ?? Because just for extract it's very long, habitually it take only few minutes...

I'm seeing one peer (which I assume is you) but they're not connecting... my connection must be damaged :(

If you can add peers directly, I'm at 74.106.29.124:34274

Arrgh! This is almost as frustrating as timelines :P
