Broly, stronger than Perfect Cell?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Can't get any simpler than that you overanalyzing rocket scientists.
Or maybe you are underanalyzing?

Gimme a break, you are not more right than anyone on this forum is, you may even be the right one, but the difference is that you haven´t even given a valid reason for your opinion for us to agree on your theory.

We are people that think when we see something. If you don´t like "overanalyzing", then this forum is not a forum for you, because that is what we do.

All I know is that in the dub, when Broly is powering up and shit is rumbling, Paragus tells him to stop, or he'll blow up the planet. How much powering up does he have to do to blow up the entire galaxy? lol.

Yes, then my nose starts bleeding and you give me a black eye and the result from that was a KO, then hell yes, you destroyed me!
WOW!!!! He got your nose and your eye in one punch and managed to destroy you.

Quick questions: Does it show how he destroyed the galaxy? You sure he just didn't fly around setting little ki bombs all around then activate them all at the same time? Also, if de made the galaxy “vanish” (1) give me the number of his agent cuz that is on heck of a disappearing act, and (2) didn't Goku go to the South Galaxy? How can he go somewhere that has vanished?

Phenomenol, you're missing one really big flaw in your 'theory'. A few planets do not a galaxy make. If Brolly had actually destroyed the galaxy King Kai would not have told Goku to go to the South Galaxy. He'd have said to go and investigate the few planets left of the South Galaxy.

Also note, it is impossible for an explosion of galaxy destroying proportions to leave behind a stable solar system. You know, a star with a planet in orbit and all that. And we saw more than one of those cause of Goku jumping to different planets.

So, are we suppose to seem more intelligent when we overanalyze a children's cartoon when the facts are in front of us?

1) Broli destroying a planet one at a time would take thousands of years trying to blow up a galaxy.

2)Well his agent is Akira Toriyama, he is the guy who created Broli.

3) Yeah, Goku went to South Galaxy...... A WRECKED Southen Galaxy.

Ummm, I'm not too sure about that. Toriyama designed Broli, but I'm not sure how much input he had on the plot of the movie.

I find your comment here highly amusing and hypocritical considering you've been arguing about same said, "children's cartoon" for days now without any real concrete proof to back up your claims. And no, typing all in caps, posting the "rolling eyes" emoticon, and telling people to "build bridges and get over them" doesn't count as solid points.

Does this guy honestly think that bridge comment is funny and witty? Sheesh. -_-

What actually meant was that he stopped in System left a ki bomb, stopped at a cluster of systems dropped another one and did this until he had enough to destroy the entire galaxy. Then they all went off while he was a safe distance away cuz It takes a lot of energy to cause that much damage. Especially since he doesn't have the type of speed needed to take out a few tinier sectors at a time and still make it back on time for dinner.

Yeah, my point was Broli was built by Toriyama.

And then you woke up.........

The Galaxy vanishing and stateemts being made that he attacked it is proof enough.

Yeah, my point was Broli was built by Toriyama.
And my point was that, for what I know, Toriyama had nothing to do with Broli except for his appearance. That means his power and other capabilities were left for Toei to decide, for what I know anyway.

No it's not when you haven't shown evidence of those things. Attacking is different from destroying. The latter being what you claim Broly did.

attack
Main Entry: 1at·tack
Pronunciation: &-'tak
Function: verb
Etymology: Middle French attaquer, from Old Italian *estaccare to attach, from stacca stake, of Germanic origin; akin to Old English staca
transitive verb
1 : to set upon or work against forcefully
2 : to assail with unfriendly or bitter words <a speech attacking her political enemies>
3 : to begin to affect or to act on injuriously <plants attacked by aphids>
4 : to set to work on <attack a problem>
5 : to threaten (a piece in chess) with immediate capture
intransitive verb : to make an attack
- at·tack·er noun
synonyms ATTACK, ASSAIL, ASSAULT, BOMBARD, STORM mean to make an onslaught upon. ATTACK implies taking the initiative in a struggle <plan to attack the town at dawn>. ASSAIL implies attempting to break down resistance by repeated blows or shots <assailed the enemy with artillery fire>. ASSAULT suggests a direct attempt to overpower by suddenness and violence of onslaught <commandos assaulted the building from all sides>. BOMBARD applies to attacking with bombs or shells <bombarded the city nightly>. STORM implies attempting to break into a defended position <preparing to storm the fortress>.

destroy
Main Entry: de·stroy
Pronunciation: di-'stroi, dE-
Function: verb
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French destroy-, destrui-, stem of destrure, from Vulgar Latin *destrugere, alteration of Latin destruere, from de- + struere to build -- more at STRUCTURE
transitive verb
1 : to ruin the structure, organic existence, or condition of <destroyed the files>; also : to ruin as if by tearing to shreds <their reputation was destroyed>
2 a : to put out of existence : KILL <destroy an injured horse> b : NEUTRALIZE <the moon destroys the light of the stars> c : ANNIHILATE, VANQUISH <armies had been crippled but not destroyed -- W. L. Shirer>
intransitive verb : to cause destruction

Notice how in neither of those entries, where synonyms are listed, they don't have each other's words listed? That's because they're two different things.

Nice try Jerseymilk but Broli attackED which means his assualt was past tense relating to the galaxy being shattered in seconds!

I don't know why it is so hard for you guys to see the facts.

Kid Buu was stated to have destroyed a Galaxy in the Anime (It shows a gal;axy vanishing in seconds as well when Kaioushins explains about Buu's power).

So Broli can destroy a Galaxy period.

No...but Broli did destroy a galaxy just like kid Buu did in the Anime?

Are you guys going to deny now that Kid Buu did NOT destroy a galaxy? :?:

Kid Buu destroyed many planets - one at a time. Both the anime and the manga were clear on that.

Also: I hate you.

How exactly did Broli destroy the damn galaxy? With hugs and kisses? Destroying an entire galaxy would take an enormous ki blast. I didn't see a single ki blast during the degradation of the galaxy, leading me to understand that it was symbolic of Broli attacking the galaxy over time.

I for one don't hate you. I just think that you're a bit hard headed and don't like to lose, even when you have been presented with evidence that disproves your opinion.

Also, Broli is one of the stupidest characters to have ever existed in the entire history of Dragon Ball. His back story is lame, his movies sucked and he's a big screaming retard. I can see why so many kiddies love him.

Ding Ding...We have a winner.

The Anime shows Kid Buu and then a Galaxy Vanishing.

I hate people in denial.

My friend, quit fighting you can clearly see a Galaxy vanishing it is obvious he had to do it in One shot.....maybe he started from planet to planet but no doubt he got bored and decided to end the nonsense and destroy the whole thing. To say he went from planet to planet to destroy a galaxy is ridiculous because that would take thousands of years (much more).

I know your tired, going against the facts can make you tired but just look how the galaxy vanished. You can see that he destroyed the whole thing.
