These type of people plague the internet. Try playing warcraft custom games etc. It's not even relaxing to play if you're the type that really wants to talk some sense into them. Many forums I've been to are filled with these ignorant bastards as well. I'm really grateful for daizex. It's the most reliable and 'civil' Dragonball forum that I've ever visited. You guys are awesome.

I'm also glad that I don't have to settle for a "LAWLDBZ!@!!!" site.

... Linkin Park AMVs!
I'm just glad no one here compares it to Battle B-Damon, which as far as shitty kids anime with shitty toys accompanying them, is the shittiest.
They're not in the same league in Japan, and they certainly shouldn't be in England or America.

Funimation won't be seeing any of my money after what they did with the "Mexican dub exclusive" DVDs and how poorly they handled the quality. Even if they did it over....and only then would I let this go and forget about it. It amy not seem like much, but it is a big deal. To a person who is seeing the Mexican dub for the first time (on the Funi DVD exclusives) will think that Mexico handles anime poorly and not think that Funimation is the one to blame. Slap a 'Made in shitty ass backwards poor MEXICO' on it on the way out of the factory.

That's what's really preventing me from buying any more. And the fact that the video seemed to jump all over the place when there was a ki blast fired
Not nearly as much. The later you get into the series, the less old the masters are, which means less scratches and more accurate colors.

Well that partially makes sense, but I don't see how the colors fall into this at all. I know they've done a better job on season three, and maybe four, but in regards to how old the original masters are, the color accuracy soley depends on how FUNimation handled the footage.

Not fully. As film ages, the colors change (unless you keep it in controlled environments, like the cold storage Toei put the generation zero masters in). Chances are the master FUNi received had no measures taken to preserve it, therefore as it aged the colors and so on changed slightly.

I'm really tired of hearing everyone complain about FUNimation's Remastered Season Sets because of the widescreeen. Its not there fault that the series is put into 16:9. In order to achieve 1080p High-Def (Or as close as possibal to it) (Even though you won't see it cause its on a standard DVD, and not HD-DVD or Blue-Ray), you need to put it on widescreen. 720p you don't need to, but you can only achieve 1080p by putting it in widescreen. I konw the truth and that's why I love FUNimation's Sason Sets. I actually heard someone complain about 16:9 on blue-ray brolly remastered, not knowing that 16:9 was its original format. Please look into this stuff.
Here's proof of 1080p needing widescreen.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1080p
The term usually assumes a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, implying a horizontal resolution of 1920 pixels.
You really think FUNimation would be stupid enough to cut of 20% for no reason?

Yes.

I've always wondered, was there anything stopping Funi from mastering the series in HD, but in a 4:3 ratio.
For instance 1920x1440 (4:3), that way when they down converted it to dvd, they wouldn't have to crop it, only the HD releases would have to be cropped to 1920x1080 (16:9)
Meh, just a thought.

Yes. You can ONLY do 1080p in widescreen. Full-screen television does not allow anything past 480p or 720p. Plus, the Season Set standard DVDs are in HD, its just when you put 1080p ionto a standard DVD, you don't get the full effects.

No way! You solved the mystery.
Give him the blue ribbon!
Sorry if I sound sarcastic, but these conversations get redundant. Besides we all know Toei has the real remasters.
