Dragon Ball RN (New Fan Manga)

Post by Ultimate DBZ » Sun Mar 09, 2008 12:12 am

Check out a new fan-series/site called Dragonball RN. They even have an official site, and its better then the AF fan-made dojenshii. Its compleatly in color and liscened, plus its FREE. Check out the official site if you wish to be entertained. http://DragonballRN.com. They even have info and news updates about the series, along with media to view the chapters in your choice of original black & white, or in color like a kanzenban. With new stuff being added, unlike the fan-made DBAF manga where you get like 5 pages every 6 months. Looks pretty neet. Again, a hell lot better then fan-made AF.

That's one impressive layout.

As for the comic... its pretty interesting. The art is kinda funky in a lot of places and the story is a bit slow to start, but it ain't bad. I should try doing something like this.

Isn't this like, the fourth or fifth time this has been "introduced" on DaizEX? It's not "new."

I think there should be a limit to these "fan-made" manga topics, but hey that's just me.

This manga looks like a shit compared to DBAF manga... (It's too "americanized"!) But good for a fan manga! :)

I like the dragon on the 2 page of chapter 1, he looked awesome.
I finally bought a gamecube. To bad they don't make any games for it now.

Seconded
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

When I read that the art gets kinda funky, I didn't think it was gonna look like that.

But I can't say that I wasn't a bit entertained.

I just read a bit of it. Kururin as a master was a nice touch; their students made me crack up once or twice. The art is funky, but only because it's trying to imitate the original DragonBall style.

You know what would help that? Tracing!

I guess it's more "hard on the eyes" than "funky".

Toyble may trace some things, but his manga still maintains the feel and atmosphere of Dragonball.

This feels like a completely different entity to me.

A boring one.
