Who wouldn't be stoked on Teto? I'm about to start a fan club or something.

Instead of making an entirely new thread discussing this, I was wondering if you guys would find this idea in favor; starting the Dragonball film franchise with the Bardock story.

From the beginning, I was hoping to have a pre-opening credits sequence with Bardock sending Goku off, a-la Superman.

Doesn't look like it's gonna happen at this rate, but hey, maybe one of the more Saiyan-heavy sequels will have him.

I think this would work as a 5 min. intro to a movie or a flashback but not as a separate entity. Especially for the first movie, it's better to get acquainted with Son Goku as himself and then learn about his past. It makes it a lot more emotional in my opinion.

I'm trying to be as optimistic as I can, but well..it's difficult lol. Personally, I can't imagine James Wong and co. , creating an extremely elaborate, and serious movie full of depth as I and many others would want, but at the very least I hope that the film we'll be seeing will have atleast one redeeming quality to it.

I'm loving the colour and style on that picture, even if it isn't a real screen shot from the live-action movie. Very sexy. :D

Can anyone tell me, is this really the official screenshot?
How some people can claim it's official? where did they found that screenshot?
I need an explaination...?
And I won't scream don't worry :D there's no point in expressing my opinion since you know that there is no way I'll say anything positive about this movie...

"Just-escaped-from-jail-after-2000-years"? What? Anyone else get 'Phantom Zone' chills?

Also, what's with the three-pooh rating?

It's a preview rating, I haven't read into it fully, but the three Poohs means it's a kid's film.

Electric rice cooker, thank you very much.
You know, as opposed to the non-electric kind >.>

Rice cooker.
Rice cookers are 'jail' now? "Imprisonment" I could see, but 'jail'?

I'd chalk it up to the magazine's editor shortening 'imprisonment' to 'jail', or something - but I'm not entirely convinced the film won't actually be something as asinine as Piccolo breaking out of jail.

From dictionary.com...

jail /dʒeɪl/
–noun
1. a prison

pris·on /ˈprɪzən/
–noun
3. any place of confinement or involuntary restraint.

I've never seen anything rated in Poohs before, that's pretty funny.

Uh, it's already been stated before that he was "sealed" thus it's not going to be an actual *jail*. And anyone who really even gives the thought the slightest credence is just stupid. No offense or anything but the phrasing is a common as hell catch-all for anyone who's just escaped from imprisonment. Hell, I've seen the events of movie 11 refered to as a 'jail break' so.... yeah.

Wow sweet, an actual accurate detail from the manga/anime! Things are shaping up for this movie.
