Yo, DesireCampbell.

Do you think its possible for you set up a website for the English translation of Dragonball AF? I think it would be a really cool idea to set up a homepage for the team of people getting this translated and starting a little communtiy of the English-speaking fans of Toyble's comic. If this is all up on one page, I think it would help make a ton of people much more aware of Toyble's work. Hopefully, Toyble will even take notice to the fact that he or she has a ton of readers out there.

All the due props to Toyble, of course. Link the original page and everything.

If you're up to it, I might be able to get somebody to make a layout for you.

I like the idea of a central place for the project, but the current page seems to satisfy that. Unless you've got some other idea as to what a whole separate website could do...

Well, a Dragonball AF website would obviously get a shitload of attention. Especially if it had a straight-up name like DragonballAF.net or something like that.

Seriously, wouldn't all the people who are oblivious to what the deal with AF is come straight to the site? So from the get-go, the site can make it clear that DBAF is only a fan-created thing. Plus, it would help raise much more awareness of Toyble, the project's history/status, etc. It could help keep everyone updated on what's going on according to what Toyble is posting on his or her blog. That's just some of the things that could be done, but I want to know what you and everyone else thinks about this.

I got something to add. Since this is all around; maybe if you did this idea of a new site. You could have a page for every language that has a translation or something like that.

Good point.

I'll amend my ban on people posting this topic to allow any translators to post :P

Now get back to work!

What sound effect is 'Shyoo!'? the face cut (page 79 panel 3) or the sword swing (page 79 panel 2)?

Also, can I get the other sound effects on these two pages?

"Shwoo" was the only thing I could think of at the moment that replicated wind billowing really fast. And the only reason I had it listed was because of it being in a bubble, which people might mistake for dialogue. I believe that's the only time I've translated SFX for these besides earlier on (but I kind of stopped because finding equivalents is a pain in the ass.)

And I noticed I spelled it "Shyoo" instead of "Shwoo"...nice.

Edited the top bit too, linking to the DaizEX rumor page, and the podcast I'm on. Because I'm awesome. And take all the credit.

Rumor is spelled romour in other English speaking countries? I always figured they'd spell it rumour. That's probably just some wierd type of sarcasm I didn't pick up on though. Oh well. :(

Goddamnit, you've all been letting me look like a jackass for the last week?! Noone tells Desire that he spelled it with an 'o', they just laugh and point and then laugh at his floundering attempts to take hold the situation.

This is exactly why Canada is going to invade you.

Anyway, page is up, and 71-80 are now zipped up.
