Because it seems like he wants to create a cover that would substitute for the oh-so-popular "orange brick", and quite frankly, US DBZ is, whether you like it or not, a FUNimation product.desirecampbell wrote:I think it looks exactly like how Funimation would create a cover, and there's obviously some great technical work in it.
I still think it looks like ass.
-Why is the Funimation logo on there? Repeatedly? These are custom covers, why the hell do you want Funi's logo there?
-Also, why doe sit have the funi website and 'power up for battle at' bullshit on there too?
-And all the Funi mis-information marketing "remastered in High Definition", "Widescreen transfer.." on it?
-What's with the description on the back? Firstly, it sounds awful. Secondly, why would you have it on there at all?
I guess my problems break down to this: why are you making it look like just another Funimation storefront cover, instead of making it look good?
And you said, "instead of making it look good?" What? It looks absolutely fantastic. And I only wish I was half as good as him on Photoshop.
Absolutely great cover. Great job Steven Perry
