It may have seemed that I'm implying that I really hate everything that has been going on with the film, but fyi I've been pretty much 50/50 on it.

I just wanted to point out how much of a pompous, hypocritical jerk you seem to be for returning back here with 'these guys' here on daizex when you stated that you were 'done with this forum'. Just because you're really popular on the Dragonball forums on Superherohype doesn't mean you can group all of the daizex members and imply that we're a negative bunch of people who just bitch and complain about the film.

And yes, I just made that movie up..however my point remains valid.

Completely off topic, just act like I never even posted this but, I read on IGN a couple months ago that this was really in the works.

Back onto the pic of Chatwinku. They seem to do an okay job with hair, I do kind of see Goku in him. But what really would have made him better is if he had bangs.

The Bulma and Roshi costumes look good enough to me, Yamcha looks like an on-set photo of Park. Goku is a bit too modern, but I have a feeling that this outfit is at the beginning of the story while he will be in the orange and blue gi we saw his stunt double wearing for the majority. I like the hair on Bulma and Goku.
What I'm most concerned with is him having the naive and confident Goku attitude, that's what is going to determine whether they are bringing my hero to life properly to me.

There's nothing disrespectful about it, they are scans from a magazine, not your own personal creative works.

Well toward the end of the series, he wore clothes that were close to that outfit. The only difference was anime Yamcha's clothes were yellow.

I’m not mad that they aren't giving the characters clothes exactly like their manga counterparts. Some things don't translate to real life very well, for example Wolverine’s comic book costume. (I hope I don’t cause a shit storm with that comment.)

Yamcha's yellow costume was a suit, his movie look just makes him look like an asian Terminator with the whole leather aspect. I actually think he looks cool, but when does Yamcha ever dress like that.

They should at least give him his Kame gi not something completely different. Also same goes for Bulma, a few strands of blue in her hair doesn't exactly scream out that she is Bulma.

When he trains under Roshi I assume he will wear Kame gi.
As for Bulma I can't say I disagree, blue hair isn't hard to manage and looks natural. Although strands of blue are fine with me, it’s not the worst design choice the movie decided to make.

The floating Dragonball upon Goku's palms seem as if it was recently drawn in with photoshop or something.

Anyways, I think that Yamcha and Bulma look pretty good despite having totally different appearances from the manga/anime. Also, Chow Yun Fat's outfit is very fitting, but it's too bad he didn't go bald and have a beard on. It's kind of funny how he resembles Muten Roshi more in Pirates. As for Chatwin, I think that I would have been just fine with the hairstyle he had in...say..War of The Worlds.
