I've heard rumors that her hair is going to change periodically throughout the movie (I've heard of a blue wig and a pink wig, oddly enough).

"Goku's" lack of bangs makes me sad. I know its just a tiny detail, but it just...he doesn't look like Goku without the bangs; Chatwin had bangs in "The Invisible", it's not like its impossible for him to achieve.

Hm. Sounds interesting. Hopefully Bulma's hairstyle changes about every 13 seconds in this movie. It would be a nice play on how often her hair changed compared to anyone else in the series.

While it's nice to see this stuff popping up, I still have no confidence in this movie. I wanna see some of this stuff in motion first.

Maybe it's like a ki power-up, which means there could be bangs.

This is probably going to be as bad as Transformers though.

Aside from the lack of bangs, with a little imagination, the hair actually doesn't look that different than Goku's hair in the original series. Of course there is no possible way to realistically replicate Goku's hair from the original series. His hair takes on a very two dimensional look.

Also I read that they wanted to use Chatwin's real hair, and not a wig. With a wig they could pull it off, but not with a real head of hair.

He just has a spikey mohawk, god this film is going to suck. Not only that but since when has Bulma ever had brown hair, give that girl either Purple or Blue hair god dammit.

I actually like the hair on Chatwin - it's not Goku's hair, but it such a thing would be rather difficult; I won't fault the film on Goku's hair. Bulma's hair, on the other hand...

My contention is still that Chatwin displays no emotion. Nothing. This, coupled with what little we've heard already, makes me expect the worst - another Spider-man flim.

It's not, really. His hair, while absurd by real world standards, is also completely possible. None of this 'flipping' I keep seeing people mention actually happens. It's called perspective.

Maybe I'm just pointing out the obvious, but according to the caption in the second scan, that shiny thing floating in Chatwin/Goku's hand is supposed to be a dragonball. I originally thought it was supposed to be a bit of ki or something, myself.

Actually, Bulma does have a few strands dyed blue. Sure, it's not entirely blue, but I like it.

I'm not entirely sure that's Bulma. She looks a little more Asian than Emmy Rossum. I'd say that's supposed to be Chi-Chi.
