Thank you this nice throwback to the past and chaotic beginning of Dragon Ball Super.
I agree with you that given the circumstances back then they probably did the best they could, but things are tricky if you want to start reading Super just in manga form. Things are better now (with Super Hero getting a nice adaptation), but I like the Volume 1.5 idea you brought it (and maybe a 9.5 for Broly
).
And additionally, what about this idea... If Dragon Ball Super ends one day, some time passes and they would do Kanzenban version much like with the original Dragon Ball. There the content from "Volume 1.5" could be included, other missing bits added to make a proper complete version. But these thoughts might be ahead of time
Anyway, keep up the good work and I hope you'll cover the other DBS arcs from the manga in future podcasts as well
