Apparently he (or she, I can't remember if Toyable is a girl or a boy,) will have a booth there East District R Block-50a at the site venue (Tokyo Big Sight) 10:00-4:00 on the 15th of August. He (or she) will be selling AF 1-64 and AF 65-100 (of pages not on their blog yet.)

So, yeah, this would be a nice little trip for someone who is in Japan at the moment and would like to check this out when it happens.

ジャンプスーパーアニメツアーで
ドラゴンボールの新作アニメーションが…
って話は前々から知ってましたが、
いつしかのＩＱサプリでやったみたいな、
リメイクのような、新作のような…的なものを想像してましたが、

なんと、鳥山先生原案の新エピソードみたいじゃないですか！！
これはスゴイ。なんとしても見に行かなくては！

しかも、メインビジュアル的な絵はまぎれもなく山室大先生の絵だっ！！
ってことは作画監督ももちろん山室先生ですよね！？
やったー地球に生まれたよかったー！！

しっかし、どんなストーリーなんだろ。
メインビジュアルに描かれている面々にすごーく気になるところが…！
まず知らない顔が４名。
・少年ベジータみたいなやつ
・最近の鳥山先生がよく描く宇宙人（サンドランドのピッチ人みたいな）
・オニュー特選隊にいそうなやつ２人

…う～ん。想像するにベジータの弟が地球にやってきた！的な話かな？
ねこまじん的なゆる～い話かな？できればビシッと戦闘してほしいな…。

あと気になるのが、ブウ編の後の話って言ってるのに、
クリリンとヤムチャの髪形が違う。
もしかしてパラレルワールドなのか？それはヤだな…。

Here's the main points of Toyble's post on the new DragonBall special:

First Toyble just talks about how this new special is coming out, and how it seems to be a new episode from Toriyama's original idea. So nothing new there.

Toyble then says that the main poster that's been circulating was drawn by "Yamamuro-daisensei (Tatsunoboshi Horoko points out that this refers to Naoyoshi Yamamuro), and wonders if that means Yamamuro is the art director for the special.

Wondering what the story will be like, Toyble notes that there are 4 unknown people in that poster that's been going around:

-A guy who looks like Vegeta as a boy
-Aliens who Toriyama-sensei has drawn a lot recently (they look like the Pinch people in Sandland)
-2 guys who look like they're part of the Onyu Special Selection Squad

...Ye~ah. Using my imagination, perhaps it's a story like "Vegeta's younger brother has come to Earth!"?. Maybe it'll be a loose story like Neko Majin? If possible, I want there to be some snappy battles.

He also notes that even though it's supposed to be after the Buu arc, Kuririn and Yamcha have the wrong hairstyles. “Could this possibly be a parallel world? That would suck.”

The pointy speech bubble for the picture says “Jump Super Anime Tour”. I can't make out what the thing outside the bubble says, due to all those damn dots.

edit: If you're wondering what the "Onyu Special Selection Squad" is, apparently it's a corner feature in V-Jump where characters from the Ginyu Special-Squad (or rather, cheap imitations of them) introduce new manga that are coming out (at least, that's what I gather from here and here). Their name is a pun on tokusentai, the Japanese title for Ginyu and co., except they write the sen with the kanji for "select" rather than the kanji for "battle. "Onyu" comes from onyuu, a varient of nyuu, the Japanese spelling of the English word "new".

I believe he...she...toyable was referring to Naoyoshi Yamamuro. I think you read "Naoyoshi Daisensei" incorrectly.

Thanks, that's got to be it. I've never heard anyone referred to as "daisensei" before. And considering that Toyble calls Toriyama "Toriyama-sensei", does that mean he/she/it/they ranks Yamamuro above Toriyama?

Has Toyble ever said anything about DBAF ever making it's way to color? It would look really nice if it ever did, I think it would be a great fan project too. Hey, maybe I'll try coloring some pages once I get my new computer up and running!
