Do we know what colors Xicor is supposed to have?

While the colors are nice I think it doesn't quite mesh with the art and in truth makes it look more fake.

Those are pretty good, all that you need to do is re-define the original lines so that they are more prominent when you make the colored version, and it will help the colors be more neat and organized.

@ desirecampbell: How much of the manga are you planning on coloring? It looks awesome and it totally puts you above the meager ranks of "typesetter".

I think it would be awesome if someone used a scan of some of the color pages from the Kanzenban and created a custom color palette for us (Desire) to use, that way we could potentially get it to look a lot like the original color chapters.

All I can gather from Google translate is that the second chapter was pages 65-96 and that there were minor changes/fixes made.

Awesome! I love the Daizenshuu style cover, but it almost looks like the books are American comic book size. I can't tell what the background image on the cover is going to form, but I assume that it will be one of the fighters, based on the belt type thing behind Trunks' head.

The contents of volume two are a bit different from what I previously announced, so I updated it.

DBAF(2) (Pages 65 - 96 currently being released on the blog + 21 pages of a specially drawn short arc not yet released)

This volume can only have up to what's been released.
I was only able to draw up to that point ヽ(TдT)ノ

We're finally getting closer...

The background image is SSj5 Goku.

I'll be in Tokyo in December, so I'll try and make it to the one then. Hopefully Toyble will be at that one also. If I do go and he's there, perhaps I should buy lots of extra copies to give away? Or better yet (better for me, at least), have anyone who wants one give me the money to buy them a copy.

Actually that's a great idea. If you're willing, I'll probably shoot you a couple hundred bucks to pick up as many as possible. I'd love to have a copy just to make better scans. Of course, this all hinges on me having some extra cash come December (which, if not the case, would be very sad).

Well, I'll have to see how much he's charging first. Then I'd just charge for that and shipping and whatnot.
