Another method
A way to do it in GIMP:
I usually change it to B&W mode, then "select by color", and "paste as new layer", and that makes it transparent. Then I change it back to RGB mode and color it in. :3

I wish I can upload more pages... but the only decent Internet I could use is collage's. The connection at home sucks! I can't upload high quality PNG pictures.
But, it'll give more time to scan more pages till Sunday.
So, expect at least 6 new pages by Sunday.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Doesn't colouring those pictures digitally take the fun out of it?

Not at all. You don't have to mess with dry markers and the color choices are endless.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Doesn't colouring those pictures digitally take the fun out of it?

Hujio's Ginyu Tokusentai is easy to look at with the soft colours. The one Bura made feels a little, just a little, oversaturated but is more dynamic since she added shadows. I like both of them though.
I know, I know, always commenting with my big mouth on others so where is my own try? Well, can't lie much other than that I'm lazy at the moment.
