Anyone notice that Kuririn said that he died five times when he really it's four times (First killed by Tambourine then Freeza, then Super Buu, and finaly Hell Fighter #17). I wonder if that was a simple mistake or what?

The question was how many times it will be once Xicor kills him. In a nutshell the conversation is:

Everyone: "Well, I guess we're all dead"
Kuririn: "This will be death #5 for me"
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?

It's a widespread and pretty much baseless rumor. I think the Funi dub of GT contributed to it at least a bit by having Vegeta say that he was unable to transform into a Super Saiyan 4 when possessed by Baby because at the time he "wasn't a pure-blooded Saiyan" or something like that. The original line (which is actually spoken by Bulma) merely says that Vegeta couldn't reach that form because "Baby's cells were interfering", which could mean all sorts of things. Still, even the Funi dub never says flat-out that half-Saiyans can't reach Super Saiyan 4 (that I'm aware of anyway), and the rumor may predate the dub and have gotten its start simply from the fact that the only characters who ever do reach Super Saiyan 4 in the series are the two last remaining pure Saiyans.
I think Gohan most definitely can go SS4. I'm in the camp that Gohan has more potential for power than (almost) anyone because of his mixed blood. Trunks, Goten, and Bra have it too but I think Toriyama was still trying to keep the idea of Gohan's superior potential alive toward the end of Z when the Old Kai did his training. It's a shame that we will never really know what happened when his "abilities were unlocked" because it wasn't explained clearly enough and either completely dropped in GT or no insight was sought out to explore it further.

Yeah but.... ;/ it's just not the same.
Neither Bizarro nor Venom are clones of their opposing heroes.

Evil Goku would be more along the lines of Black Suit Spidey, in my opinion. It's still the same character, only mean.

I hope he does, it's kind of a tradition by now. He has to die at least once per series, the latter part of Z is almost a new series because of the big amount of years in between. I see it as a "Z part 2". It's just me being weird really. Nothing against Krilin, it's just, he has to die :(

Yeah, it's kind of like a running joke at this point. :P

So, is Necrosaber going to give us better scans from his comics or what? That would be sweet.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. :)

I wanted to ask if anyone knows if more pages of Toyble are coming up soon?

Thanks.

PS: Sorry if I made any grammatical errors.

If there's an update, it'll be posted on this thread.

PS: You didn't make any egregious grammatical errors, but you made some pretty basic capitalization and punctuation errors.

So, me and rereboy are thinking of making a Portuguese translation of AF. I would like to work in conjunction with Herms and desirecampbell in order to achieve the best translation possible in my language. Also, I'm still curious, is Necrosaber going to give us scans of his books? That would be a much better quality than the ones Toyble gives us.

So anyway, please contact either me or rereboy in regards to this project. Thanks!

Super eager for decent scans, but in the meantime - for DNA and anyone else who would like 'em - here's the original images from Toyble's site, plus all the 'extra' images, and all the finished PSD files from my releases (that's 10 pages per PSD, so 20 files so far).

ZIP of original images (71 MB):
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/681507/dbaf/source/original.zip

ZIP of all my finished PSD files (259 MB):
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/681507/dbaf/source/PSD.zip

Also, I'll give my suggestion, unbidden, for using Dropbox for hosting - my website can only handle serving about a quarter million DBAF pages a month, and it died a couple times before I moved the files off server. Plus, if you sign up with this referral link we'll both get extra space.

Well...Toyble said he'll be slowly uploading the rest of volume 3 to his blog over the rest of the year, then start with the new volume next year. Since we've already obtained scans of the end of volume 3 thanks to Necrosaber, that means technically there won't be any new pages until next year. Toyble should have new updates before then, but there'll be stuff we've already seen via Necrosaber.

Despite the random conveniences, the whole concept of the Dragon Realm, and what not is flippin' fantastic. If only Xicor was a much more compelling character.

I can only imagine what will happen when Xicor confronts Goku and discovers that he was not, in fact, the ruler of the universe. XD

I keep thinking that this will develop into Xicor becoming a hero, just like the old plot points said.

I hope he does not become a good guy since I feel like it won't feel right to have everyone to get all prep up to kill someone even stronger then Omega Sheron, and then have him become a good guy in the end. I hope they kill him off this time, and Toyble will make a second saga afterwards.
