Also, what are we going to do with characters (like Piccolo) that have roles in both GT & DBO? It's well known that GT & DBO do not belong in the same continuity, since GT is a continuation of the anime, while DBO is a continuation of the manga.
The whole DBO storyline could just fit in a DBO article, really.

True, but I believe it would be worth mention something in the respective characters page.

How should we go about listing their powers and attacks?

Unless we like the mix them all style of DB wiki that has the manga, anime, movie, and video game attacks on one list for each character though they do sometimes list that the names or attacks came from a video game(they usually list which game).

I don't see the point of having video game only attacks at all.

I think they should be there, but in a separate category. Besides, they are part of the franchise.

Budokai 2 had a bunch of generic attacks that were the same for every single character. There are dozens of Dragon Ball games, many of them add new generic attacks for it. I'm not sure it's such a good idea...

Well Maybe we could include them on the game article they appear on rather than tack them on the characters general article. Or we could go Naruto wiki style. Not list them on the character page but they would have their own article and would be listed under a attack debut section in the game profile. That way the game stuff doesn't clutter up the anime and manga stuff. Its sort of like semi-invisible. Its there but you just have t put in a little more effort into finding it.

Which is another question, are we gonna create articles are individual attacks and techs?

There are so many video games now keeping up with all the characters attacks for each one would be so pointless. List their attacks from the manga, then any new ones they got in the anime but note they were filler. Though if a game gave an attack a specific name it didn't have before (such as Cell's "Solar Kamehameha") I think the name should be used and credited to the game, but if a character has a random attack in the game as like a place holder (like "high speed rush") then it deserves no mention.

I agree, there's no point in mentioning attacks like "Super Explosive Wave" or "Jack-Hammer Fist". There are many random generic attacks in the games that are not even worth mentioning.

I agree about the generic attacks, but what about Future Trunks, Yajirobe & Tapion using sword-ki attacks? I think less generic things like this should be mentioned.

I can't see any reason not to have a list of special attacks. If it's verifiable information, it should be included. In fact, daizenshuu 7 already has most (all?) of them listed, and they've already been translated.

And I can see a need for a few techniques (Super Saiyan, kamehameha, fusion) needing separate pages as well.

Why, though? That's just a generic as throwing a punch, when you think about it.

Yeah, a list maybe, not a page for every single technique. A page for Kamehameha, it's users and variations sure, a page for Fusion yeah sure. Super Saiyan is a trait of the Saiyan race, but I guess since there are so many variations of it it might warrant a page.

I agree, a list is the best choice.

A better question is "why not?" What reason would there be to exclude a specific technique from a list of all other techniques? It's a named technique from the series, there's no reason not to include it.

Even Daizenshuu 7 gives Yajirobe "generic" sword swings a name.

Only the techniques used in the manga should be listed. The others are just filler; like Piccolo and Krillin having Tien's multi form technique or the high speed rushes

Dude, it's a wiki, of course it's going to cover everything, that's the whole point. I still don't think that generic game shit should be covered, but most of it, yes, if it is exclusive enough.

This is as generic as throwing a punch?!
