I would love to see a Broly RPG, where you could be Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten or Broly. It would have to include all 3 movies as well as part of the story.

I really would like to see Super DBZ 2 with more modes (Tag Team would be great here...) but one Dragon Ball related game I'd truly like to have is...

*cough* A dating sim. LOL

Hey, they did it for Prince of Tennis.

My dream dating sim would be set in Orange Star High School. Bwahahahaha. Uhhh...I guess the player controls Gohan. And...he picks up chicks! Wowza!! Er...yeah. ^^;

I have to agree with this. I think it'd make an excellent game.
So basically what you two want... is.... Morrowind/Oblivion: DBZ edition?

Actually, that might work... but perhaps it might be better with someone like, say... Kamesennin. And, obviously, it wouldn't be in Orange Star High School, that'd be just wrong, it'd be in like Satan city or something (or West city, depending on when the game takes place).

Now there's a (point & click adventure) game idea: "Kame-Sennin and the quest for pafu-pafu", with a wonderfully anticlimatic ending.

I'd buy that. I'd play it silly too.

I would like a game that goes through never seen things. It could be Vegeta's story from the time planet Vegeta was destroyed to the confrontation with Goku. Or a story of anyother characters past. Yajirobe, Kami, Muten-roshi, Tenshinhan and Chaozu, Buu, even Yamchu, but please something different than, Goku beats the bad guys up again.

Or maybe highly detailed what if sceanarios of other characters. What would be if Vegeta went Super Sayan before Goku(and not that, he ruled the universe-The end thingy.) Or if Veggeto stayed fused, or if Piccolo killed Goku.

Hell, we've had way too many run throughs of the same story. DBZ is over and no matter how many games it gets the story isn't gonna change. Therefore I'm of the mindset that any future games should be more like spin-offs. Like, for example, Roshi dating sim. I would totally go for that. Or something like dragonball soccer! I dunno, just as long as it's something not directly plot based or even fighting based while still carrying the atmosphere and characters of the series. I mean seriously, all I wanna do is have fun and goof around with DB now, I'm through fighting the same sequence of enemies over and over.

Though if I absolutely had to settle for something plot based, it would have to be about the original Dragonball series. It's like people pretend it never existed! It got no love on the PS2.

I agree! (especially with Sparking! NEO coming out) Yes! Original Dragon Ball with Dragon Quest VIII-esque map field, new designs from Toriyama, & some action-rpg elements. Or something of that kind. Pretty much similar to what I said earlier. Though I wouldn't mind if Koichi Sugiyama did the music as well.
Yuji Horii &/or Hironobu Sakaguchi, Akira Toriyama, & Nobuo Uematsu &/or Shunsuke Kikuchi working on the ultimate Dragon Ball simulation/experience. That is all.

Well, yeah. Basicly I want a game where I can do what I want, go where I want, and be who I want. I want the story to change as I play it.

I'd love a game where how I finish previous 'quests' affects the next ones. I'd love to have the game keep throwing eniemies at me on-schedule whether or not I'm ready for them (goddamnit, games aren't supposssed to be easy). I'd love to have more to do than simply fight; throw in 'side quests' like finding the Dragonballs, or getting a driver's licence, some basic fetch-missions would be nice. Let me train my character whenever I want. I want to be able

Oh, and I gots to have my destructable enviroments. I feel the need to blow up the planet.

Nyuuuu! I want my Gohan as the hero. The way I see it, it will be more like the Harvest Moon games, where you can woo bachelorettes (Videl, Erasa, Angela) but also have to get on with daily tasks such as:
  • going to school - making sure you get the study meter to passing level before exams
  • making money - it can be crimefighting at Satan City, working as a waiter in the coffee shop, or fishing at the lake (this is where the mini-games come in!)
  • befriending people - make friends with Chi-Chi and she'll let you use the car to travel faster...make friends with Goku and he'll fish for you...make friends with Bulma and she'll give you nifty gadgets...
Of course, there has to be an ending...such as you have to get someone to be your girlfriend before a certain day comes up (before the prom?)

I already have a title for this game  Orange Star: Romantikku Ageru Yo!

*cough* Anyway...ZOMG, I have done so much thinking about this obviously...now if only I could make game art/sprites, I would so make this game...or maybe I could go work for Webfoot. Haha XD

That's easy. Just have a Sims: Hot Date game and find some Sims skins for it.

Well online play could be nice, IMO it'd be cool to see where you can make custom characters (like making your own characters, not editing skills) and having them fight another.

When did Dragonball stop being about the dragonballs and more about Goku and his amasing friends??

If we're gonna have a new Dragonball game, we would need a new Dragonball Game. New characters, new stories, and new adventures. New people searching for dragonballs to grant wishes, but the focus is more on the adventures rather than all fighting.

The soon-to-be-released Nintendo Wii will add a few new twists to the games. You actually get to use the motion sensing controllers to fire kamehamehas in a similar way you would in the show, by which I mean both hands cupped, retracting them behind your back and then bam. At least this is how it appears from a few of the screen shots dotted around the web. It looks pretty neat, and would correlate with other unique control styles the wii is taking advantage of in other games.

I found that was the most interesting idea. I think something set a couple of hundred years before dragonball would be cool.

Or a really accurate game which covers all of Dragonball from beginning to end.

I'd like something like Plot to Destroy the Saiya-jin, with a new story (seeing as how he designed a new Freeza for Super Dragon Ball Z, maybe he could create a new plot and/or brand new characters?).

Another thing would be to have anime cutscenes, instead of stupid, shiny cel shaded game characters who stand still or pictures with word bubbles.

Did I mention Toriyama? Heck, as someone in EGM once said (Ultimate Battle 22 review XD), Toriyama could shit in a paper bag and the fans would buy it :D

I agree with the above post. An original story would be a good idea. What type of game should it be though? I'd really like to see a Final Fantasy style DBZ game. That might prove to be difficult what with the characters flying and all that.

The original Dragon Ball and GT haven't really had great or memorable games based on them. There's still lots of material there.

Also, I liked Legacy of Goku II and Buu's Fury. If they made a bigger, console scale version of those games I'd buy 'em.
