I live in Wisconsin, and I've only once imported [I bought DragonBall: Advance Adventure, out of Europe] but then, I couldn't get faster shipping so it took like 4 weeks arrive, atleast here I paid for the quicker ship.
Ironicly, in wait on this I only bought one other item [the dub of movie 12] which surprises even me. Usually when I've got a few bucks to spare I find some use for it, but it hasn't burned any holes in my pockets lately. Though, this order isn't exactly burn-proof, either. Lol.

Here is the outside box (from a Japanese auction, obviously):

Not surprising. I'm sure vendors in Japan break street dates occasionally just like U.S. vendors do. Either way, Amazon says they're shipping tomorrow, so this isn't too big a deal. Still, I feel the excitement tooMilton wrote:They're already showing up on Yahoo! Japan auctions?!![]()
GOD, I can't wait for Friday...you know you've got it bad when a picture of the BOX THE ITEM COMES IN has you excited.

EDIT: Speak of the devil, my Amazon account status just switched to 'Shipping Soon' and my credit card just got charged also. I can almost taste it...ugh, DVD's taste really nasty... >_<

Oh golly, the suspense. Oh the suspense!
Anyway, I hope when DHL ships the package to my door that they ring my bell, or leave me a pick up note. [Not that I am worried.] I'd like it very well if they rang my door bell, and tried to get me for claiming, that would be ever so nice, and keep me from having to get a ride down to their local location, which may be difficult [seeing as I no longer have a car.]
I am definitely ready for the arrival and the subsequent opening of the ship-standard cardboard box which it will be arriving in. The sweet smell of "new" minted on the freshly printed dvds. It's wild, and addicting.

Yeah, that's why I'm having it delivered to my work. Previously, I had to drive about 30 minutes to go pick up DHL stuff (the DB Dragon Box and the Kanzenban releases which I ordered all at once), now it arrives and someone in my office signs. It's a real nice surprise when I go to lunch and come back to DVD goodness.lost in thought wrote:Oh golly, the suspense. Oh the suspense!

And now the time has come, for Amazon to send me tracking info and for me to watch the shipping process like a hawk, until that day when it switches to 'Out for Delivery' and I go mad.

Hm, $346.33. I forgot to have it charged to my credit card, rather than my debit card. XD Oh well. I'm hella excited for my Dragon Box to come in.
Hopefully the UPS guy delivers it to my place early like they did with my Fullmetal Alchemist Collector's Edition movie boxset. I'd rather get the set before going to work. @_o;

Probably the Radar, whatever tangible extras are contained within, the dvd extras, Movie 13, and then whatever else I feel like digging into.So, now that the box is in transit, what are you guys gonna watch first? I'm thinking that after I check the extras, I wanna see DBZ Movie 12 first, probably followed by 13.

I am pretty sure DHL does the shipping for this product.Hopefully the UPS guy delivers it to my place early like they did with my Fullmetal Alchemist Collector's Edition movie boxset. I'd rather get the set before going to work. @_o;
I do but for me it will probably take several weeks before I can check mine out, it usually gets stuck at customs, so I might hope to get it before the end of this month.MajinVejitaXV wrote:Sweet. My account on Amazon Japan still says "Items shipping soon". Though it does say the expected delivery date is this friday, but I don't know if I can wait that long!
The Movie Dragon Box has been up on Yahoo Japan auctions for a couple months. They showed up a while before the initial release was supposed to be, but then the date got pushed back, so it's been a while.Milton wrote:They're already showing up on Yahoo! Japan auctions?!

I can beat that, I was in the grocery store today, lost sight of my girlfriend, so I glanced up to check my radar. I actually looked up and to the right. Then was confused when I didn't see a little green circle.lost in thought wrote:If that isn't the geekiest thing I've ever seen someone say, then I really don't know what is.Hujio wrote:That's the sexiest thing I've ever seen... ever!
Embrace your geek-i-tude, Hujio!
But, back on topic...
I'm actually really pissed I'm too poor to get any of these boxes.

(é) Yeah, I'm famous. Super famous. I start things.
