April Update
Toyble was thinking of doing some prank for April Fools Day, but the day arrived before he could think of anything. Maybe next year he’ll say that this is the last chapter or something, though of course it’s pointless if he tells the prank beforehand. It took a lot of effort to draw these five pages, so it’s looking iffy if volume 3 will go on sale this summer.

DB DVD (sketch of Tarble and Gure)
Tarble says he read the V-Jump manga adaptation of the new anime special, and it made him want to watch the special again. He wants to check and see all the subtle differences between the two. He ordered the DVD, but he’s forgotten when it was supposed to arrive. April? May? He hopes the second half of the manga adaptation shows what happens to Tarble afterwards. He wasn’t in GT, so maybe he went back home.
Sketch of Tarble and Gure from before, but with hands drawn over it
Toyble is left-handed. A reader called Uissu-san noticed this. Toyble wondered how Uissu-san could tell, but after looking at some of his pictures, he noticed that the lines he draws when blacking things are all slanted to the right. He thinks that’s probably how Iussu-san could tell. As the picture shows, when drawing those blacking-in lines, if you draw them with your left hand they’ll lean to the right, and if you draw them with your right hand, they lean to the left.
DragonBall Evolution (sketch of Yamcha)
Toyble went and saw the live-action movie. He thought it was interesting, and that the hour and a half just flew by. He says the live-action movie is separate from DragonBall. He was impressed with how much of the original story was preserved, and how they used it. He was happy to hear “Goku” and “Kamehameha” and whatnot coming from the screen. He says Justin Chatwin is cool; he still has a youthful feel to him, so he suited Goku. He wasn’t too beefy or too young. The Kame dougi suited him; Toyble wants one for himself. Emily Rossum in the role of Bulma was the closest to the original, in both face and personality, and she’s super-cute too. The CG was amazing; that’s an area where Japan is just no match. However, too many things were crammed into the movie, and there were lots of things he wishes were explained more, though he thinks those parts were probably cut because otherwise they would wreck the pace of the movie. Hopefully these cut portions will be included on the DVD. Toyble thinks everyone should go see the movie and form their own opinions. He hopes there will be sequels, so that he can see Vegeta and Freeza. He personally thinks that the android story arc is the one most suited towards Hollywood, so he hopes they hang in there long enough to get that far. Finally, he apologizes for such a long post [I, uh, kinda got bored and skipped some of the middle there]
