1 Kino Production (DBZ Majin Buu saga)
2 K-Production (DBZ Majin Buu saga, DBGT)
3 Studio Carpenter (DBZ - Cell Games saga, DBZ movies, DBGT,)
4 Doga Kobo (DBZ Episode 177)
5 Studio Cockpit (DBZ - Cell Games saga to ending)
6 Toei Animation (DBZ, DBGT, DBS)
7 Last House (DB, DBZ, DBGT)
8 Shindo Production (DB, DBZ, DBZ movies )
9 Studio Live (DB, DBZ, DBGT Episode 21)
10 Seigasha (DB, DBZ, DBGT, DBS Episodes 14 and 21)
11 Studio Junio (DB-DBZ Episode 200)

I never knew DB had so many studios working on it. Dogo Kobo in particular has done some great work IMO since its start.

Toei in 6th place is sad, but not surprising.

Kanzenshuu's own production guide is far more detailed and accurate than anything CBR could hope to put out.

The lower half of this page is where you can see all the studios that worked on it alongside the number of episodes and screenshots.

Uh...did you read the article title? It's not a ranking list, just a list of studios in chronological order, which was why Kino is at the "top."
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

1. Studio Cockpit: 179 and 279 remain by far the best animated episodes in the dragon ball series, their other work is usually 7-9/10 but both of these episodes are really amazing. Includes: Masaki Iwane and Keisuke Masunaga
2. Seigasha: The amazing trio which includes Kazuya Hisada, Masahiro Shimunaki, and Naoki Tate really elevated their work to greatness. Takeuchi was not bad in my opinion. Their best is 31 and 268 in my opinion.
3. Studio Junio: Unfortunately, their later work (Minoru Maeda) would be incredibly rough, however, their work from the beginning of DB till the beginning of the Namek saga was very great. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru would, later on, become the character designer for the Buu saga, and he was such a magnificent animator. Masaki Sato needs no introductions, he is legit Toriyama in anime form, while his later work doesn't share his marvelous art as much as before (Cell saga), he was still perhaps among my favorite animators in terms of art style. Also includes Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, and Naoki Miyahara.
4. Shindo Production: Why 4th? Their artwork elevated itself there (since Yammumoro took over). 232 might be perhaps their best work yet, and it is really sad to see how much Tadayoshi fell.

I hate the Studio Cockpit art style. Very "un-Dragon Ball" to me. It makes me want to punch everyone in the face, especially Goku. I dislike how exaggerated and over the top it can be.

1. Studio Cockpit - They've been around since the late Cell arc. While Cockpit's art style goes against the general look of the series, it's made up with fluid animation and amazing fight choreography.

2. Seigasha - This is an animation studio that's been around the beginning and only got better as it went along. The art is highly detailed with dynamic fight choreography and brilliant use of storyboarding. Tomekichi Takeuchi's animation stiffens as the series' art style starts to evolve but other than, Seigasha's delivery is generally on point.

3. Studio Junio - This studio was so great that it influenced Toriyama's art style. Studio Junio is distinguished with it's rough and gritty art style . Junio is also known for their fluid animation and dynamic storyboarding albit these qualities start to decline during the Freeza arc and following before Junio completely left the series after the Trunks TV special.

4. Shindo Productions - When Mitsuo Shindo was the animation supervisor, Shindo Productions was merely an okay animation studio with some standout moments but as Tadayoshi Yamamuro took over as supervisor, that's when the studio really started to step up their game and became arguably the best studio the series ever had.

5. K-Production - Another late entree into the series with the Great Saiyaman arc. K-Production isn't as standout as other studios but the art and animation hits all the right notes.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.
