Age 756 is a fictional year in the timeline of the Dragon Ball franchise, during which the 23rd Tenka'ichi Budōkai is held.

Major Events

07 May, 756[1] The 23rd Tenka'ichi Budōkai is held. Son Goku becomes engaged to his opponent in the first round, Chi-Chi. Goku wins the 23rd Tenka'ichi Budōkai, with Ma Junior as the runner-up. Goku and Chi-Chi plan a wedding ceremony at Mount Frypan, but flames engulf Ox Demon King's castle, so Goku and Chi-Chi set off to find the Basho Fan.
08 May, 756[1] Chi-Chi trains to become a bride under Grandma Hakkake. After retrieving the Basho Fan, Goku learns that the special fire surrounding Ox Demon King's castle originates from the Furnace of Eight Divinations, and he heads toward the Mountain of the Five Elements. On his way, Goku reunites with his grandpa, Son Gohan. Goku extinguishes the flames of the Furnace of Eight Divinations.
