alt.fan.dragonball was a Usenet-based discussion board and one of the primary, public discussion boards for English-speaking Dragon Ball fandom in the late 1990s. While the original posts and threads are difficult to track down due to the inherent nature of Usenet's decentralized news feed distribution, the board was in wide usage by late 1996.

The board was regularly active following the American debut of FUNimation's Dragon Ball Z television series English dub, and remained active for several years until the popularity of web-based forums superseded Usenet relevance and usage in general.

We effectively killed alt.fan.dragonball with the launch of our for-reals forum on Daizenshuu EX in January 2004 (which is still maintained and active to this day as a part of Kanzenshuu).
