Akira Toriyama Comments
Akira Toriyama's author notes for each of the three collected volumes are included on page 575. Pages 572-574 feature a merger of the reader Q&A columns entitled "Akira Toriyama's 'Ask Me Anything' Corner!" that are included in each collected volume. Unlike the VIZBIG edition, no questions are omitted in this section of the 3-in-1 edition. Instead, the full-color reprint of the cover illustration for Dragon Ball Tankōbon Volume 1 found on page 572 of the VIZBIG is omitted.
Preview
The final page of this volume is a preview for Dragon Ball 3-in-1 Edition Volume 2. It features a panel of Jackie Chun from chapter 50 accompanied by the following text:
In the Next Volume
Goku and Kuririn have made it to the Tenka'ichi Budōkai, the world's top martial arts tournament! But even the training of Kame-Sen'nin couldn't have possibly prepared these two for their eccentric opponents: a mystic, a dinosaur, and a cutie with a deadly stripping tactic?! Plus, Goku faces one of the most baffling opponents of all—a mysterious old coot named "Jackie Chun"!
