The Jump Victory Carnival 2017 Official Guidebook is a small booklet given to all attendees of the Jump Victory Carnival event in 2017, which was held 22 July 2017 in Tokyo and again 29 July 2017 in Osaka. Known as the "Saikyō V-Jump Festa" in 2012 and 2013, the event was renamed as "Jump Victory Carnival" in 2014, a name it retains to this day.

The book contains information about the various companies and products on display during the event, news about said upcoming products, and various spin-off/supplemental manga chapters in support of these franchises.

Dragon Ball Manga

The 2017 official guide book features bonus chapters from five independent series. For the first time since the event books began including multiple Dragon Ball-related manga entries, Dragon Ball SD is not placed before any of the other material.

Dragon Ball Super

Toyotarō contributes a two-page chapter of the Dragon Ball Super manga on pages 86-87.

Following the battle with Zamasu, Trunks and Mai begin to settle down at Capsule Corporation in the present-day timeline. Gohan pops out to say hello, informing Trunks that he has been training in the gravity room even though no-one has asked him to participate in the recent battles. Trunks notes to himself how the Gohan in this timeline is old enough to resemble the Gohan he knew from his future timeline. Gohan says the future must be peaceful thanks to Trunks' hard work, that he'd like to visit it, oh and how long will Trunks be staying this time? To Mai's surprise, Trunks says that he was planning on going back in a few days. While Trunks cannot invite Gohan to come see it just yet, some day he would love to bring Gohan there to see it. Gohan blurts out that he would also love to meet the Bulma in that timeline, too! As Bulma criticizes the naive and clearly-ignorant Gohan, Trunks mutters to Mai that they should return to an earlier point in the future timeline...

This two-page special chapter was reprinted and included as a bonus within the fifth collected edition of the Dragon Ball Super manga in March 2018.
