Lady Red's title is written in English in all caps, with smaller accompanying katakana text of レディ·レッド (Redi Reddo) above it in its original serialization; the later printing in the first volume of An Emperor's Feast of Akira Toriyama has no accompanying Japanese text serving as this "translation".
Lady Red is produced in western comic style format, reading from left-to-right, top-to-bottom; each individual panel is numbered to guide this reading order.
Lady Red was first published in the the second issue of Shueisha's Super Jump, released 18 December 1987 in Japan. Each issue of Super Jump includes a comment from that issue's respective authors. Toriyama's comment in the issue is as follows:
亀仙人のモデルはボク。なぜならすけべだから…と友だちはいうけど、はっきりいって誤解です！
The model for the Turtle Hermit is me, because I’m a pervert... is what my friends tell me, but to be blunt, that's a misunderstanding!

Said comment is similar to that accompanying the 26th Dragon Ball manga chapter.

Lady Red debuted in the second issue of Shueisha's Super Jump (spanning pages 303-305), released 04 March 1987 in Japan.
In addition to its original Super Jump publication, Lady Red was later republished (in its original full color production) in the An Emperor's Feast of Akira Toriyama, Vol. 1 compilation, released 08 August 2008
