Navigator is an original character designed by Akira Toriyama for the 2019 video game Jump Force, serving as an assistant navigator to the player avatar character alongside various Jump heroes.

ヒーローとなったプレイヤーをナビゲートする、猿のような見た目の小型ロボ。主人公のお供となって物語へ誘う。自立して話すことも、通信機のも発揮。[1]

Name
Navigator's name (ナビゲーター Nabigētā) is simply the English word "navigator" as-is in Japanese.
Production


Navigator is one of four new characters designed by Akira Toriyama exclusively for Jump Force (alongside Glover, Kane, and Galena), all of whom debuted in a trailer released in September 2018.[2]
All four character designs were published the following month in the December 2018 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump magazine.[1]
Akira Toriyama's original design for Navigator was featured as a July 2019 entry in the Dragon Ball Official Site's The Nearly Complete Works of Akira Toriyama ongoing weekday column.[3]
Performance
Navigator is played by Rie Kugimiya.
