Tip is a fictional celestial body in the Dragon Ball franchise, located within Universe 7. The planet is mentioned by name only in the Dragon Ball Super manga series' fifty-second chapter, originally published 21 September 2019 in the November 2019 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump magazine.

While Vegeta hijacks Iriko and his spaceship to travel to Yardrat for training, Goku likewise leaves Galactic Patrol headquarters with Merusu for additional training of his own. Meanwhile, escaped convicts show up on planets Rich and Tip, forcing the Galactic King to question Galactic Patrolman Jaco Tilimentempibosshi about recruiting Piccolo for assistance.

Name

Planet Tip's name (チップ chippu) may have several pun sources. With many of the escaped convicts seeking out treasures on various planets before reporting back to Moro about potential energy sources, when combined with Planet Rich's name (リッチ ricchi) potentially being "rich" (referring to wealth), チップ may simply be the word "tip" itself. チップ may also be intended to refer to the "chip" snack food item; swapping the syllables in Planet Rich's name produces something close to チリ (chiri) or "chili", which could line up with this alternate pun source.

The planet's name is adapted as "Chip" in Viz's English translation.
