Introductory text.
Name
"Super Neko Majin" is written completely in katakana as スーパーネコマジン (Sūpā Neko Majin). This is in contrast with the "Super" in "Super Saiyan" (超サイヤ人 Sūpā Saiya-jin), which is written with the kanji 超 (chō), which itself is accompanied by furigana of スーパー indicating the sūpā pronunciation. The "Neko Majin" portion is likewise written in full katakana as ネコマジン (as opposed to 猫魔人), following the standard spelling elsewhere in the series.
Attributes
"Super Neko Majin" is a strengthening-technique[1] which Z learns by imitation after seeing Onio transform into a Super Saiyan. As such, its attributes are similar to Super Saiyan: glowing hair which stands on end and increased battle power.[2]
Usage
Neko Majin Z 1
When Z and his young friend attempt to trick Onio and his wife into taking photos with their fake koala (i.e., Z in disguise), Z fondles the wife's breasts, prompting Onio to become enraged and transform into a Super Saiyan. After the two fight for a bit, Z decides for himself that he will also transform into a "super something". Z powers up and shines with his fur standing on end, calling himself a "Super Neko Majin". Z kicks away Onio's blast and fires a Nekohameha of his own to defeat the Saiyan.
Neko Majin Z 3
After fighting for a while in their normal states, Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan, prompting Neko Majin to transform into a Super Neko Majin. Upon seeing this, Vegeta immediately fakes receiving a phone call and leaves Earth, citing "urgent business".
Neko Majin Z 5
Son Goku is in search of his pupil, Z. Upon landing and greeting Z and his young friend, Goku looks to test if Z has been keeping up his training. The two spar for a brief time, with Goku managing to dodge a Nekohameha, but subsequently being farted on in the distraction. This prompts Goku to take things seriously and become a Super Saiyan; in turn, Z transforms into a Super Neko Majin (with dialog reminiscent of Goku's own explanation of Super Saiyan from chapter ###). Z is quickly defeated when Goku distracts him with a cat toy.
