Honestly,I think Raditz is one of DB's biggest lost opportunities. Goku's always making villains into friends, and his own brother barely gets a chance?

I actually do think he would be, at least, angry with Piccolo. He only seemed to grow sour against Goku after his offer was rejected.

I assume that would mean a more natural death, or anything that would actually hinder his ability to keep doing his job. He even specifically choose to stay dead to show Goku around, so I guess being a dead Kai is even better than being a live one!

While I am perfectly ok with the pacing up to this point, I'm sure they're stalling.

They announced the series too close to release, the BoG arc is probably a way to keep something airing while they work more on the new stuff.

As a non-american, I think the original american dub has a lot to do with this.

The impression I get from what I've seen online is that the american dub of the 00s sold Dragon Ball as something much more "violent", "serious", and to use a word of the times, "extreme".

It's perfect. When I started the very first episode I immediately started grinning ear to ear because of it... As other said, it feels really "Dragonball-like"

They can either change it to 5 saiyans, somehow introduce Tarble now, or simply keep Pan anyway.

I don't think the timeline is very clear on Super. We know it's at least six months, but probably more. They could also disregard the post-buu stuff and make Pan older anyway.

You know what? I'm freaking loving Super, flaws and all.

I mean, it's Dragon Ball... Really Dragon Ball.

Sure, some characters might not be acting like people expected, and maybe it's less violent than DBZ was (actually, I'd say most anime nowadays are much less violent)

But Dragon Ball is back ...
