In the FUNimation dub of the anime, IIRC, it's said that absorbing someone kills them, though I think that's a dub invention. Can anyone confirm if that's said in the Japanese version?

Actually, if you look closer, it says DUBBED, not subbed. New dub, perhaps?

I liked the change of "We'll start getting the bodies on board" to "This is where we'll find them". This was really more meaningful-sounding. They actually talked as if they were more than just bodies in the edited version.

As expected, the big sign that says 'Mr. Satan Special' now reads..."Mr. H ercu l e Special", and the shot of Mr. Satan's hand glowing and throbbing is cut.

Yeah Kikuchi for GT might have been interesting. He's my second favorite DB composer and you know what? I wouldn't want any of the scores for all three series changed. They are perfect the way the are for me, especially GT. Bascially entirely opposite of what you perceive :D

They cut out the entire scene where Cell absorbs 'the richest man in Gingertown'. He just thanks Piccolo and then he suddenly disappears in the shot immediately after with no explanation at all.

I am a relatively new fan to Dragon Ball in general (I've...only seen part of the Buu saga and all of Kai...), but my God, just listen to Vegeta when he kills himself. The acting...wow...:shock:..better than a lot of Chris Sabat's performance of Vegeta in the original dub (seen that too...), almost ...

Colleen Clinkenbeard should play Goten. It would keep consistency with Kai and the new 'Curse of the Blood Rubies' dub, and she has a really nice voice too.

Yeah, I think that the 'Over here, retard' line would probably be as is on the uncut release and changed to something like 'Over here, meanie' in the TV version. Sounds pretty reasonable to me, considering the Nicktoons standards.

Josh Martins shouldn't play Fat Boo again, unless he can change his voice to actually have a change in tone when needed. It'd be too painful for me to take any more of it in something new.

I seem to remember that they edited when King Cold gets blasted by Trunks so the beam doesn't go THROUGH him, it just hits him, which I believe was unedited in the Nicktoons version.

I really want to see someone else try Gohan, though. Don't get me wrong, I think Kyle Hebert can act, it's just...his voice doesn't really fit the role in my opinion. I think that Colleen Clinkenbeard would make a very interesting Gohan if she can make herself sound the age. If she can ...

Watched it. The usual edits are kept (glowing balls, no Shenron in the opening, etc.) , and it looks like they didn't cut much else.
