There seems to be two camps of people.

Camp 1 wants more unique characters, like movie henchmen and any other heroes/villains that aren't already represented in the game.

Camp 2 wants more forms of guys we already have like GT Goten, GT Trunks, GT Vegeta, Future Gohan, Base Hildegarn, Base Bebi ...

Just like others said, I would prefer an RPG with a storyline. If the battle system was done like the Bouncer, maybe but it depends on how detailed the game is, storywise and such.
