I like to go with the humans, mostly Ten and Yamcha. Tao Pai Pai is another favourite. Asides from them, I like to use Gohan (either Cell or Buu saga) and Future Trunks a fair bit as well.

Trunks was from some seventeen years (not sure of the exact number) in the future. The Buu arc took place seven years after the defeat of Cell, meaning that time had passed in Trunks' timeline well before he travelled ...
