Another dub question - wasn't the UUE uncensored when it aired on cartoon Network? I swear I remember it being uncensored when I caught it on TV back in the day, including some nudity.

Blood seems possible, idk if nudity as well

I don’t know of it’s mere coincidence, or if influence from Toei was involved, or what, but the TVB Pearl English subs ...

I've been wondering about where some of the name changes for the dubs come from, because from what I know Hercule was not something that Funimation came up with and was a name from another international dub. Are there any other instances of this where translations were taken from different dubs ...

In the French AB Group dub he’s supposed to be called “Satan’s Little Heart,” since they translated Daimaoh to “Satan” and Piccolo means “small” in Italian.

I think in the Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins series there’s a boss called Daimaoh who was also sometimes translated as “Satan” in some games in the ...

If the power level gap is such an issue that it necessitates rewriting the story, wouldn’t it be simpler to just make Freeza’s power level(s) smaller?

Buu killed the King, Dabura. So he took the throne, and then Goku killed Buu. Gomah was never the rightful King, he just said he was due to being the next one in line... but the rules ...

I don’t feel that the adult designs of SSJ3 Vegeta or the new SSJ4 Goku are vastly superior to the child designs. I feel they’re pretty much the same in quality, so I wasn’t massively excited to see them both transform this episode as if this is the first time we’ve seen them do it.
