What irrates me?

I know that it will never happen now, but I wish they had made a special revolving around Vegeta between the Freeza and Cell sagas, where he was sort of an anti-hero. Those little bits in the show where he's decimating Freeza's planets and searching for Goku whet my appetite. Were those scenes filler?

Three big turning points, I think.

During the end of the Cell saga when Vegeta apologizes to Gohan for his botched attempt at fighting back. Vegeta never apologizes and certainly never cares about anyone other than himself.

When he discovers that Gohan has "died" at the hands of Majin Boo and ...

I still don't understand why Vegeta turned to stone when he tried destroying Boo in the blast.

I'd place Movies 2, 3, and 5 during the three-year training period while adjusting for the Super Saiyan discovery. Not sure what I'd do with Movie 4 or the others. I'll have to ponder on this.

I seem to recall Gohan calling Piccolo "Uncle" at one point during his training. Remember thinking it was weird, especially since it didn't seem like they were that close yet.

*Ocean cast dub of complete Dragon Ball Z series/films

In theory, I think some of the characters could expel provided they had the discipline and knowledge of said ability. Then again, maybe it's an ability unique to Namekians or those who are auditioning ...

Vegeta and his crew had probably never come close to death before Earth, so they wouldn't have been exposed to it.

It is rather odd to see a lack of affection from someone who's a husband and father. I'd expect that from Vegeta, but not Goku.

At no point does Cell make use of his wings, instead relying on bukujutsu to get around. My only guess is that the computer designed him that way so he could be airborne without consuming or revealing his ki via bukujutsu. But then his imperfect form is without wings, so it kind of throws that ...

I have no qualms with Kuririn being the strongest human. However, I think Ten likely surpassed Kuririn after he settled down.

I'm gonna say that it stops at stage four. The Super Saiyan God form, while very likely the most powerful transformation (he is a god, after all), it can't actually be attained. I'm sure that Son was bummed out when he lost it.

Kung-Fu Hustle is the best we'll ever get to a Dragon Ball movie.
