Not anymore. ^^;;; This was when the episode first aired, quiet a while back. I e-mailed saying something like "I love DBZ, so I was really amused by your parody, it was pretty dead on."

And the reply was something like "Thanks for liking it, Tom [the other writer] and I are fans of DBZ, so ...

Well, *I* am amused by it, and so somehow I think that's all that matters. Excuse me for not leaving the KND fandom because you say it's bad, that is, please don't think badly of me for not taking your word as law. ^^

The only recent DBZ parody I can think of getting a kick out of was on Kids Next Door (a show that I'm not that fond of.)

It may contain great character moments regarding Vegeta coming to terms with his brutal past. It may contain some gripping drama as Gohan turns on Goku for neglecting him during his teenage years. It may contain Pan turning Super Saiyan 70 billion. We don't care ...

As much as it weirds me out to be argueing over a minor character's chest size, I can't recall seeing Bra with any boobs at all in DBGT. And, with her outfit, I'd think it would be easy to tell. >__>

I don't know about looking *that* old -- as I recall, she's flat chested -- but her outfit *for sure* implies that ten years works a lot better. I mean, does the world really need 8-year-old hookers? (whether or not 13/14 year old hookers is any better shall be ignored)

v.v;;; Jeez, don't get so huffy about it. A Mary-Sue does not equal a Self Insert, simply because an insert is "you" and a Mary-Sue is "who you wish to be." They over-lap a lot, of course, but they aren't the same thing. I've seen pleanty of Mary-Sues that are completely different from their authors ...

Well, I believe that a self insert can be a 'Sue, but a 'Sue is not always an SI. The circles I hang out in tend to define them differently; it's true that a Mary-Sue is often who the author wishes they were, but it's just as often that a MS is just an original character gone wrong. I'd still advise against it, just because the number one rule of crossovers is "Make sure the things you're crossing over are compatible." As in, a "Slayers" and "Lodoss War" crossover (as they're both fantasy anime) would make a little sense, but I can find nothing compatible between Harry Potter ...

I always thought Goten was the ladies man of the two...

Anyway, I'd advise against anime / RP crossovers. They never work out, no matter how well writen they are.

^^;; That's a good point. Since I tend to hang around the "second generation" fans on ff.net, I usually forget that some people don't count DBGT -- since my portion of the fandom deals with DBGT characters and events, I'm really too used to including as best I can in my stories and theories, I guess ...

The only thing I see wrong with that is that Bra doesn't seem to use any fighting ability until Baby controls her. I wish I knew the exact episodes, but in the "one where Gohan attacks her and Vegeta" Bra uses a car to escape instead of flying (a lot faster), and in "one of the fighting episodes ...

They don't all suck, but I agree it takes some digging, sometimes. As for the pairing of non-canon couples... that can be bad, but I've read stories that really make it work out... probably because it's not just "randomly, characters A and B are together now!"
