Re: FUNimation DBZ TV Blu-ray Official On-Going Thread

All I can say is thank god I bought the DVD Dragon Boxes as they were released, and that they finished that run! I now wish they had put those resources towards a Dragon Ball or Movies Dragon Box instead of getting a bunch of poeple partially-invested in another format that might now not continue to ...

Re: FUNimation DBZ TV Blu-ray Official On-Going Thread

According to an announcement at RightStuf!

Blu-ray editions of Dragon Ball Z went into production based on fan demand, however due to the technical challenges of restoring from the original film frame by frame, FUNimation can no longer produce these releases. The company plans to reevaluate the ...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Movie Pack 1 & 2 (1-9) DVD sets at RightSt

Hey all, haven't been on in a while. Thanks for posting pics of the last movie pack! :-)

Is it just me, or was it CHEAP of Funimation to combine movies 10 & 11 (Broly - Second Coming & Bio-Broly) onto a single disc for this movie pack? Earlier films in this set are the same length as these two, yet ...

Hey!

They still sell every(!) DBox for normal price:

Re: FUNimation's Dragon Boxes have indeed been discontinued

Do not i repeat do not buy from deep dicount. They charged my card two weeks ago and i selected one day shipping and i never received it. Then I am told that they don't have any more in stock and that they can't cancel my order. I had to call my credit card company just to get the damn thing ...

Re: FUNimation's Dragon Boxes have indeed been discontinued

Have any of you tried DeepDiscount for Box 2? I've bought from them before & had no issues (other than shipping taking like a week longer than expected). I can't guarantee that they have it in stock, but it certainly isn't listed as backordered, or out of stock or anything... Plus it's priced at $49 ...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Movie Pack 1 & 2 (1-9) DVD sets at RightSt

You could easlily modify the covers and make them where they would fit into normal sized 2 disc dvd covers... That's what I'll Be doing.... I'll just keep them the way they are, as altering the covers & moving them into standard size DVD cases would mean they wouldn't fit stored in the outer box. I ...

Re: Funimation's Dragon Box: The Movies

I sent an email to Funimation about a week ago inquiring as to if there were plans to release a Dragon Box for the movies, here's the reply I got today from them:

At this time there is not a planned Dragon Box release for the movies. If that changes, we'll be sure to post an announcement on our ...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Movie Pack 1 & 2 (1-9) DVD sets at RightSt

I found a pretty obvious grammatical error in the movie descriptions on the back of the box; the last sentence in the blurb for Coolers Revenge is missing the word to .

It reads: The monster seeks vengeance, and he'll destroy the entire planet get what he came for!
But should read: The monster ...

So I went ahead & got the first Movie Pack. Certainly worth the price, and I'll just have to double-dip if Funimation ever does release a Dragon Box Movies.

Re: Should I have Sean Schemmel and Chris Sabat Autograph

Well, in that case, I guess Eric Vale (He voices Trunks, right?) should sign a Dragon Box. I think he did better there then he did in Kai. Though, too bad I didn't get a chance to see Mayumi Tanaka while I was at Sakura-Con... It would've been cool to get her to sign a Dragon Box. Speaking of an ...

Come on, this could be a great & fun contest (for those even remotely artistically inclined), I'd love to participate!! But frankly given my drawing skills, I'm not so sure stick-figures would best anybody else's attempts. So instead I'm going to bump up the prize bounty with:

Re: How Many Times Have You Bought DBZ?

Here’s the history of the DB/DBZ/DBGT releases I’ve bought over the years…

The entire DB series once (Funi Saga releases, except for the first 13/31 episodes, which was twice – Trimark/Funi saga release + Blue Brick season one)
DB movies 1, 3, & 4 twice (movie 1 Trimark/Funi saga release + single ...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Dragon Box Z Volume Seven Discussion

Actually I wrote that, and I'm a fan of both the Original Japanese version as well as the English Dub. Personally I think Funi really dropped the ball on Box 7, with manufacturing the outer box out of specs in height & miss-titled episodes. They seem like pretty major flaws by my standards for what ...

Just completed watching volume 7, which means the complete DBZ series via US Dragon Box. Truly an amazing experience!

one mistake I noticed on DBox 7 was the episode title for ep 286, when english language is selected w/ subtitles off, it uses the episode title for 271 instead of 286. Here's the ...

Re: DB Majority of Anime Collection?

Like the title says does the Dragon Ball Franchise make up the majority of you guys' anime collection? For myself, not anymore. It did 5-10 years ago, but now I have quite a bit of stuff making up my collection. It is the majority of my anime made by Funimation however. And if you look at my dvd ...
