Dragon Ball SD Tankobon Volume 1 will be released on April 4 2013 .
That means that Dragon Ball SD ends at Chapter 14 ?

How did you come to that conclusion? It's not gonna end at chapter 14. Besides, chapter 14 is as far as the scanlations have went until now. In Japan, it some more chapters forward.

I would say, no. Not unless you're a super hardcore fan and need to collect everything and anything DB related. I'm not saying SD is awful, it's just bland and kind of boring. There are hardly any good visual gags or jokes so it just this pale abridge version of the original manga. Save your money, buy the Viz Big volumes of Dragon Ball instead if you don't already own them.

Not sure what you mean by "released" — the series itself is up to chapter 21, from the October 2013 issue (released earlier this month). Not terribly impressed, to be honest: the latest chapter was literally a straight adaptation of a chapter-and-a-half of the original manga, with only one new joke that wasn't even as funny as the dialogue it replaced.

That said, I soldier on, for the sake of a project we're working on for the website. And as it so happens, I neglected to buy the Saikyō Jump issues that contained these chapters. These are in the underwater cave with General Blue, yes? I'd be very interested in finding them in Japanese….

I don't read SD much, because right now it's focusing mainly on the original Dragon Ball.

I'm only wondering, that will the Battle of Gods SD be released as whole, as the released version isn't that long, and there is a picture of Goku against Bills as SSG, so i think there's more to see from it.

Naho Ooishi drew that image after watching the movie, but as far as we know, the comic that ran in Saikyō Jump was all she drew in terms of the story.

I am currently reading DBSD and I have a doubt: why Raditz has 3 thorns in each shoulder, a scar in his face and the number 318 in his forehead?

Now I know that The 318 is because March 18 is the saiyajin day in Japan, but I still don't know why he has 3 thorns and a scar… and I guess nobody knows.

However, the reason why I am writting this post is another different:

I have bought DBSD manga until volume 5 (because volume 6 hasn't been released yet in Spain), so the last chapter I read was when Krillin destroy the saibamen… and I wanted to know one thing: in DBSD, when Freezer sees Goku and reminds Bardock, what Bardock appears in the flashback pannel, the old one or the new one?

Technically, the joke is a Goroawase pun - "318" can be vocalised as "Saiya" by numeric substitution, which is the source of both these connections.
