Fan-Made Termonology
Yeah, but saying it doesn't exist at all is significantly different from "not focused upon as much."VegettoEX wrote:Well... we list the manga chapter... it's just that it's given slightly more focus in the anime.Dayspring wrote:It still bugs the shit out of me that everybody considers Buu (+South Kaioshin) to be anim-only. You see it in the manga for a few panels when he reverts to Chibi, and Vegeta even says "He's going to transform again...", so it's not like you can argue that it never took place.VegettoEX wrote:(all as listed in our respective "Transformations Guide" page).

By calling it SSJ Full Power, it recognizes that Goku and Gohan have both attained the full extent of power in the Super Saiya-jin form. Vegeta and Trunks were only able to do limited power-ups of that form, but could not completely master the entire load.Duo wrote:
Full Power Super Saiya'jin / Super Saiya'jin Full Power
This one has boggled me the most. The only root I can find is a chapter title (the one in which Goku first goes to full power at the Cell Game) which I think was originally named "Supaa Saiya'jin Furu Pawaa" or something like that.
Another thing about it that bugs me is how little it makes sense, at least in my opinion. "Full Power" is a term used countless times to describe all kinds of characters from call kinds of "Transformations" and "Races". And it surely isn't the ultimate culmunation of what a Super Saiya'jin can become.

Chapter 508 is called junsui no majin buu (the original/pure Boo), and Vegeta calls "Fat Boo" dekai no majin buu (the huge/large Boo), I believe, while they're inside of Boo. And I think Piccolo called "Super Boo" junsui aku (pure evil), while the Daizenshuu gave this title to the grey Boo.VegettoEX wrote:As far as I can tell, the only name variation that appears in the manga is "Mr. Buu".
Ok, seriously, why is nobody reading my post regarding Buu's names?Chibi Mystic Gohan wrote:Chapter 508 is called junsui no majin buu (the original/pure Boo), and Vegeta calls "Fat Boo" dekai no majin buu (the huge/large Boo), I believe, while they're inside of Boo. One thing that always tickled me was that with all this crap-terminology, fans never made a term for Dende, Krillin and Gohan once they received a boost from Saichoru.

Yeah, it didn't really do anything, I mean, Gohan got in a few good hits on Recoome, but he still lost. Krillin got beat in one kick.Rocketman wrote:Nothing cool happened, that's why.Dayspring wrote:One thing that always tickled me was that with all this crap-terminology, fans never made a term for Dende, Krillin and Gohan once they received a boost from Saichoru.
Their power levels went from "About 1,500" to "Over 10,000". I think that's fairly significant.Saiya-jin wrote:Yeah, it didn't really do anything, I mean, Gohan got in a few good hits on Recoome, but he still lost. Well, I know that "Mystic Gohan" has been used on toy packaging in North America.

Ultimate Gohan has been used in Budokai Tenkaichi. So has Majin Vegeta, for that matter.
Kid Buu has had a Saga named that by FUNimation, and the name "Super Buu" has been used in official context as well.
Is "Zenkai" really considered a fan term? Because the word Zenkai was used in the first Japanese outro for Dragon Ball Z.
I don't know about Super Perfect Cell. In Budokai Tenkaichi, he was just called "Perfect Cell - Perfect Form"

Why is everybody using Funi's dub and merchandise as canon these last few days?
