Ages 789 and 790 are a fictional years in the timeline of the Dragon Ball franchise, during which most of Dragon Ball GT occurs.

Notes
The timelines present in Chōzenshū 4[18] and Dragon Ball GT: Perfect Files Vol. 1[19] cite Dragon Ball GT as beginning in Age 789. A period of one year is baked into episodes 1 through 40, as Earth will explode if the Ultimate Dragon Balls are not returned within one year of a wish having been made with them.[1] Earth does explode, and is wished back with the Namekian Dragon Balls.[6] The following Tenka'ichi Budōkai in Dragon Ball GT Episode 41 must then take place on 07 May, 790, some time after this event. This proposed timeline indicates that Earth explodes in the early part of Age 790, and that Pilaf's wish[1] occurs some time before 07 May, 789.
While Dragon Ball GT: Perfect Files Vol. 1 only references the beginning stories of Dragon Ball GT, Chōzenshū 4 goes so far as to fit all of GT into Age 789, a claim which directly contradicts the one year that passes in the first 40 episodes.
