The first chapter of Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission by Toyotarō, "Mission 1: The Fiendish Janenba-Baby!!", was first published in Japan in the November 2012 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump magazine.
Summary
The main character, Beat, rushes after school to play the latest mission of Dragon Ball Heroes. Beat is sent into the game itself by Sora, a Capsule Corp. battle navigator, where he is joined by various Dragon Ball GT era heroes, including Gogeta, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks, to face off against Janenba-Baby.

Cards

The debut chapter of Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission was released in conjunction with and support of the "Galaxy Mission 4" update to the original arcade game (itself released 17 September 2012). In addition to his "Hero Avatar License" card, Beat plays four additional cards:
- Beat's Super Saiyan 3 Trunks: GT card appears to be HG1-SEC from the "Galaxy Mission 1" update.
- Beat's Super Saiyan 3 Gogeta: GT card appears to be HG3-CP4 from the "Galaxy Mission 3" update.
- Beat's Son Gohan: GT card appears to be HG3-43 from the "Galaxy Mission 3" update.
- Beat's Son Goten: GT card appears to be HG3-45 from the "Galaxy Mission 3" update.
The GPJ-05 Janenba-Baby card came packaged with the November 2012 issue of V-Jump which originally serialized this chapter.
Setting
Beat leaves Satan City Primary School to play Dragon Ball Heroes at the Dragon Ball Heroes Research Facility.
Cameos
Dub and Peter, the titular characters of Akira Toriyama's four-chapter manga series from 1992-1993, are located behind Beat at the very top of the first page.

This chapter was first published in Japan in the November 2012 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump magazine.
Leading up to the the Bandai Official 5th Anniversary Fanbook: Dragon Ball Heroes 5th Anniversary Mission release in November 2015, all 28 of the series' standard chapters were posted online for free.[1] The chapter has otherwise never been collected, compiled, and/or re-released.
