Dragon Ball Super Divers: Let's Super Dive!! is a promotional manga series written and illustrated by Yūji Kasai, currently running in Shueisha's monthly Saikyō Jump magazine. The series tells the story of a young boy who seeks to become a great Dragon Ball Super Divers player.

History

Yūji Kasai's Dragon Ball work began with the one-shot Super Dragon Ball Heroes Side-Story: Avatar Story!! in the January 2021 issue of Saikyō Jump (released 04 December 2020), which was later adapted and expanded into the full Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Avatars!! serialization beginning in the magazine's September 2021 issue (released 04 August 2021), and running for 37 chapters to the October 2024 Issue (released 04 September 2024).

Following the completion of Avatars!!, Dragon Ball Super Divers: Let's Super Dive!! kicked off in the December 2024 issue (released 01 November 2024).

Title

The series' title in Japanese splits the final "sentence" into two "parts" with their own punctuation: レッツ！スーパーダイブ!! (Rettsu! Sūpā Daibu!!).

This would directly "translate" over as "Let's! Super Dive!!" which follows no real grammatical standard in English; as such, we have decided to adapt it into its own full "sentence" as "Let's Super Dive!!" eliminating the first exclamation point and keeping the final two.

• Asuka Daibu (大舞アスカ Daibu Asuka): While their family name might normally be read as Ōmai, the furigana above it indicates a pronunciation of Daibu.
• Azu Taibu (台武アズ Taibu Azu): While their family name might normally be read as TBD, the furigana above it indicates a pronunciation of Taibu.
• Geta Wagama (我間ジータ Wagama Giita): Their given name is a clear play on "Vegeta" (taking the ジータ jiita from ベジータ bejiita), while their family name is a play on the Japanese name for Vegeta's Ultra Ego transformation (taking the wagama from 我儘の極意 Waga-mama no Goku'i).
• Mr. Kamito (神斗先生 Kamito-sensei): While their family name might normally be read as Shinto, the furigana above it indicates a pronunciation of Kamito.
