The fifth chapter of Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission by Toyotarō, "Mission 5: The Last Spot For the Finals", was first published in Japan in the March 2013 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump magazine.

Summary

(TO BE REPLACED WITH LONGER, FORMAL VERSION) Beat wins his match and moves on to the finals. “Erito” congratulates him, while Note berates him because his “Charge Impact” is too weak. Next up is Erito versus “Froze”: Erito’s team consists of a bunch of Super Saiyan 3 characters, while Froze has a bunch of characters from Freeza’s family and its spin-offs, as well as an Ōzaru (tying in with some of the latest “Galaxy Mission” updates). Erito is crushed — despite his avatar turning into a Super Saiyan, as well — so the final battle will take place between Beat and Froze here at Heroes Stadium at Satan Mall.

Cast

Cards

Erito uses a deck consisting of his own Saiyan Hero Avatar Card, as well as UR ("ultra rare") cards with various Super Saiyan 3 characters including Trunks: Adolescent, Vegeta, Gotenks, and Son Goku.

Froze uses a deck consisting of his own Freeza race Hero Avatar Card, King Cold, Chilled, Super Sigma, and Great Ape Son Goku. Considering the timing of this chapter's original serialization, it is likely that the Super Sigma card is HG5-53 from the "Galaxy Mission 5" update. The King Cold and Chilled cards could either be HG6-42 and HG6-43 from the "Galaxy Mission 6" update or HG7-28 and HG7-29 from the "Galaxy Mission 7" update; each set of cards use "Dirty Slash" and "Death Razor" as the characters' respective special moves. The Son Goku card may be either HG6-CP1 or HG6-CP2, each also from the "Galaxy Mission 6" update; a much later roulette campaign card, PBS-47 from the "Super Dragon Ball Heroes 7" update series timeframe, appears to replicate this card.

In addition to his own Hero Avatar License card, Beat appears to carry over his set of HG5-SEC (Son Goku: GT), HG4-27 (Vegeta: GT), HG3-32 (Coola), and HG3-31 (Freeza) from the previous chapter. In addition to his own Hero Avatar License card, Yoshito-kun's deck is later documented as HG4-12 (Mr. Satan), HG3-50 (Mr. Satan: GT), HG3-03 (Son Gohan: Adolescent), and H6-43 (Majin Boo: Good).[1]

Setting

The players continue to compete at Satan City Mall.

Availability

This chapter was first published in Japan in the March 2013 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump magazine.

Leading up to the the Bandai Official 5th Anniversary Fanbook: Dragon Ball Heroes 5th Anniversary Mission release in November 2015, all 28 of the series' standard chapters were posted online for free.[2] The chapter has otherwise never been collected, compiled, and/or re-released.

Notes

Note wears a hoodie with her name written in English across the front, which potentially could be an homage to Bulma's original appearance in the manga where she also wore a shirt with her name written out with our alphabet.
