Dragon Ball Kai: Attack of the Saiyans is a role-playing game developed by Monolith Soft and published by Bandai for the Nintendo DS and released 29 April 2009 in Japan.
Attack of the Saiyans was originally advertised under the name ドラゴンボールZ STORY (Dragon Ball Z Story)[1], and was later changed to Dragon Ball Kai to coincide with the Dragon Ball Kai TV series airing in Japan. Attack of the Saiyans is one of only two games to use the Kai moniker, the other being the 2011 Nintendo DS game Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butōden.
