Dragon Quest Treasures: Another Adventure - Fadra's Treasure Island is 17-chapter manga series serving as an accompaniment to the 2022 video game Dragon Quest Treasures, and therefore also serving as a prequel to the video game Dragon Quest XI (which several of its character originate from). The story is provided by Masaki Hara (はらまさき) and artwork by Yōichi Amano (天野洋一), with supervision from Yūji Horii (堀井雄二) and cooperation from Square Enix.
The series began in the January 2023 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump magazine (released 21 November 2022)[1] and ran to completion with its 17th chapter in the May 2024 issue.
Three collected volumes compiling all 17 chapters were released over the course of 2023-2024.
Dragon Quest Treasures: Another Adventure - Fadra's Treasure Island does not have an official English translation/release.

The title of Dragon Quest Treasures: Another Adventure - Fadra's Treasure Island can be broken down as:

Production
A new entry in the Dragon Quest Monsters video game series was announced during the "Dragon Quest Monsters Coming-of-Age Ceremony" broadcast (streamed live on Niconico) on 06 November 2018, with character designs for unnamed characters — albeit clearly young versions of Camus and Miya — showcased.[4][5][6][7]
The video game Dragon Quest Treasures (now sans-"Monsters" branding) was announced by way of a trailer on 27 May 2021 in Japan as part of the "Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary Special Program" (streamed live on YouTube), with additional introduction from producer Taichi Inuzuka noting it as being a game about two main points: Camus' and Maya's childhood, and treasure hunting.[8] The game was eventually released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch on 09 December 2022, with a PC/Steam release coming later on 14 July 2023.
The supporting manga series Dragon Quest Treasures: Another Adventure - Fadra's Treasure Island was announced in the December 2022 issue of V-Jump (released 21 October 2022 in Japan). The story for the series would be written by Masaki Hara, while artwork for the series would be done by Yōichi Amano (perhaps best known at the time for the 2014 Weekly Shōnen Jump manga series Stealth Symphony; later in 2025, Amano produced a manga adaptation of the Sega and Atlus video game Metaphor: ReFantazio for Saikyō Jump).
Dragon Quest Treasures: Another Adventure - Fadra's Treasure Island began in the January 2023 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump magazine (released 21 November 2022)[9] and ran straight through (without breaks) to completion with its 17th chapter in the May 2024 issue.

Releases
The collected edition of Dragon Quest Treasures: Another Adventure - Fadra's Treasure Island began in June 2023, shortly into the run of the serialization. The collected edition continued with regular releases (as more chapters were released to fill volumes) until its third and final volume in June 2024. Print and digital editions were released alongside each other, day and date.
