Re: Shisami's power level
Team four star has no authority or influence on the current material.
a) Roshi fought weaker opponents just like Jaco and was clearly the weakest amongst the group.
b) Off guard attacks have been shown to affect greatly stronger opponents. Whiss also warned Goku about this, so it has an in ...

Re: Are humans the smartest race?
If anything, humans are the stupederist race of all. These are the people who couldn't see through "Demon Junior"'s disguise until the turban came off, and accepted Hercules claims regardless of the evidence to the contrary. Bluma's family, Gero, Roshi and (kind of) Videl are the only intelligent ...

Re: Shisami's power level
I seriously don't get this thread, apart from Shisami being Zarbon/Dodoria PL and going toe to toe with Kamicollo you have:
Frieza eclipsing Buu after 4 months
Roshi of 120 putting in a very similar performance as that of Tien and Krillin
Goku being almost killed by a fodder laser despite the fact ...

Re: DragonBall Z Abridged
Would anyone mind if i posted a short criticism of FF7 abridged here? It's not DBZA related, but it is TFS, so i'm not sure if it's okay
I think you should just go ahead, there have been plenty of sub topics unrelated to DBZA in this thread haha, anyway I sure as hell don't mind.

Re: What phrases/opinions/things bring out your irate fanboy
The fact that Superman beats Goku. I never argue against the point but when I look at discussions I ALWAYS wish that someone is able to give Goku a fighting chance using logic instead of fan wank.

Re: General What-If thread
Toriyama says a lot of things but I don't take most of what he says post-series to heart. It's obvious he says something and wrote something different. You recall wrong methnks.
Oh and the Androids kill everyone.
Agree with you about Toriyama, I don't agree with everything he says or everything ...

Re: Unpopular DB opinions
Unpopular DB opinion? Easy
I absolutely HATE normal fusion; that means Gogeta and Gotenks ESPECIALLY Gotenks. Gotenks ruined Trunks and Goten. I was looking forward to see how they could be useful, I hated that they turned SSJ but that's not an unpopular opinion.
I'm also not fond of the ...

Re: Are humans the smartest race?
IMHO: 2nd most intelligent. Humans are the most versatile in their intelligence but nothing tops creating the dragonballs. It may not look like 'technology' but I never really got the impression that namekians were magical beings, they just intelligently use their ki. If ALL human could use ki I ...

Re: Is Champa really a God of Destruction?
The fact that he has an attendant really makes it seem like he's another God of destruction. There are different universes one God of destruction for each. The Kaioshin were all of a similar species more or less and I'm guessing the GoDs will all be cats with Alfreds as someone eloquently put it ...

Re: Cell and timelines (what really happened)
I don't think we need multiple timelines. There should only be two of them: Trunks' Bad Future, and the Past he helped change into a Good one, running concurrently with each other. After Gohan defeated Perfect Cell, Trunks departed to his Future before Cell got to kill him (or his younger self) to ...

Not to Toriyama though it seems:
Q. Since Saiyans are supposed to have no affection for family or friends, does this actually make Vegeta, who holds his family and wife dear, an even stranger (kinder) Saiyan than Goku?

Re: Cell and timelines (what really happened)
Highly doubt he was referring to young Trunks of his time (but it's possible). The manga references a mecha Freeza and King Cold CUT in a similar way to how Mirai Trunks cut them up. The anime is clearly right.

Re: Cell and timelines (what really happened)
If I'm not mistaken, your timeline attempts to fix the issue of Cell having Trunks' DNA.
I always assumed that the manga/mainstream continuity Cell had Trunk's DNA, but he was killed by Krillin before he developed. The Cell that was fought in the Cell Games "knew of Trunks" but did not have his ...
