Re: If Gine and Bardock arrived on earth
I agree that Bardock seems more peaceful in the manga than he has in any of the animated specials. Then again, even with what we know about the Saiyans and their ruthless nature, I still don't think it is out of the ordinary for a species to show attachment and emotion towards their own child ...

Re: Was Goku holding back as a SS2 against Majin Vegeta?
Goku's own statements point to them being even as SSJ2. Unless something changed along the course of the fight, I'm perfectly happy to go along with those words. I guess its fair to say that if he was worried about Vegeta's pride, his motivation can always be brought into question.

Re: Does anyone else actually like Gohan's tracksuit?
I will gladly raise my hand and say I like the look. I even have the FnF figure on myself, since it was one of my favorite designs in the movie. That being said, I don't particularly care for it being his fighting gear in any way, but I can appreciate it as a casual look.

Re: Android 17
When Toriyama explained that 17 was working full time and living a happy life, I kind of figured he wasn't going to show up again. I'd enjoy seeing him pop up again in some regard. 18 has been extremely underutilized as well since joining the Z Fighters. She deserves a comeback even more than her ...

Re: Would Goku feel despair if everyone hated him?
I don't know if Goku would feel despair specifically. But as someone who gains a lot of motivation from his friends and loved ones, he probably wouldn't be half the fighter that we came to know him as. He might have ended up like Turles, to be honest. That, and bumping his head of course.

Re: What happens if Raditz became a Super Saiyan?
I don't think Raditz turning SSJ would do much for him in the long run anyway. He'd still have a good chance of getting stomped by Freeza. Unless he held off and trained up some more. Doesn't seem like the Raditz way, however.
That SSJ3 is beautiful though.

Re: GT - Why SSJ4 Goku is an adult
I do suppose if SSJ4 brings its user to the fullest limits, that might include an adult body for Goku. Since his kid form might not technically count as his full potential, for mystical reasons perhaps, or whatever the Black Star Dragonballs did, I can see why he can change his body like so.

Re: Was Kai Necessary
I don't know if I would call it necessary, but it came off like a successful experiment. Maybe if dbz wasn't getting so much new material, I might have seen Kai as a way to renew interest in the show, but due to the delay in the Boo saga, as well as the movies and Super, any potential impact might ...

Re: Gohan's lack of Mystic form explained?
There was a time where I assumed that his Mystic form was a permanent unlock, but as others have pointed out, Gohan's lack of training proved otherwise. It's still suprising how fast even SSJ would seem to drain him, which implies a pretty steep drop in power (more than I expected, at least).

Re: What do you think of Tagoma?
I was really glad to see Freeza do any kind of training, or at least some detail about it. I would have rather Sisami filled the role of a training partner, just to keep consistent. However, Tagoma has an interesting character design, and he got dispatched rather quickly in FnF. So if it has to be ...

Re: Are Goku and Vegeta equal again?
From what I can tell, Goku and Vegeta are as equal as can be while stilk keeping Goku slightly ahead for the purposes of the story. I imagine it as a slight edge, as of right now.

Re: What's so wrong with having Broly be a Universe 6 fighte
I was actually considering the possibility of Broli for some time. It would be fun and cool in a fan service kind of way, and might surprise some interesting fights. I ended up siding against the idea, because I would rather see new characters instead of alternate versions of the ones I already know ...

Re: The Mystic form is OP
It's over powered, but it didn't get thrown around to everyone like SSJ did. So I don’t get bothered by it here since the use was so limited. Plus it doesn't look like it has done much for Gohan in the long run

Re: Why was Dragonball minus never animated into a special?
I wondered the same thing. Minus is a pretty short chapter, without a lot of action or fighting to it, so I imagine it might he low on the priority list for adapting into an animated special of some sort. Even with filler, there might not be a whole lot to work with. It might work as a mini short ...

Re: Who will be the 5th?
I think it's going to be the previous God of Destruction. Whoever it was that Beerus took the job from. It's never stated that Beerus beat someone for the job. The guy could have died or retired, I suppose, but Beerus could just as well fought him and won, taking up the mantle, so to speak.

Re: Is LSSJ Its own form?
In every piece of material I've seen, LSSJ is described as if it is a unique form. The true "Legend" of the Super Saiyan, the one that appears once every thousand years or whatever the number was. It's interesting because it calls into question whether the Z Fighter Saiyans are true Super Saiyans ...

Re: Who's that one random character you really hate/love?
I've always had a soft spot for Tarble and Bra. I don't even have much of a reason for it. Bra always had a cool design, in a Bulma jr kind of way, while Yo! was my favorite of the OVA's. Random for sure, but I like them.

Re: Would Dragon Ball look good on Blu Ray?
I've seen many older movies such as It's A Wonderful Life, Evil Dead 2 and Lawrence of Arabia that have looked damn near brand new on blu ray, so would assume Dragon Ball has similar potential. Granted, those are live action examples. Aside from Dragon Ball, I would also like to see GT get a blu ray ...

Tights got a name drop in FnF, and was in a Toriyama created manga, so I consider her as canon as anything else from the original material. Of course I like the character, so that helps too.

Re: Freeza memory loss?
It's a different Hell that we see in FnF than the filler Hell we see in the anime. Most of the Hell we see in DBZ was a product of Toei, which left Toriyama free to do his own thing with it, so to speak, when this movie came around.
