That's the worse thing about super. It just completely spits in the face of the originals legacy. It's a bad sequel no doubt about it. This is actually written worse than GT. Thankfully it can be entertainjng.

I wished they would have been introduced differently and had a dedicated arc. All of these forms and miraculous power ups are so dull meaningless without the build up and actual trainingredients arcs to with them.

Good lord. I've finally come to realization that I absolutely hate Vegeta in super. Can't stand him period to the point where he ruins the experience for me whenever he's on screen.

This kinda makes you wonder how strong the buu saga characters are in comparison to Super.

Mystic Gohan would still be a powerhouse if he were still around. Super Gotenks is still a factor. Some of these characters still have to power to have a place on the battlefield.

Not just the manga. Pretty much most of his incarnations are in character except some of the Toei movies IIRC and the Funimation dub. Especially with the latter ...

Honestly I think it might be time to retire Goku and Vegeta if we are ever going to get another series anywhere near the quality of the original. I think that, in a lead role, there's no where else to go with goku but backwards. I wish we could have him as a legend. Like, a mentor or old master type ...

What do you want to see from Goku going forward? Actually, not only Goku, but the Son family in general?

Gohan was arguably the most fleshed out, 3 dimensional character in the series. Removing him without a suitable replacement automatically makes the show worse. It's a damn shame honestly.

If they took goku and wrote it so that he was a farmer now and didn't fight anymore, wouldn't you be just as pissed? They're just sitting all over these characters that we have waited years to see again.
